i got mine today and theyre fine. theyre hand made, well over 5 inches if you include the legs in the length and ok maybe the creamy coloured wool is wrong but then maybe it looks different on the tv colour wise.

i waited so long for them and couldnt be arsed to wrap them so gave them to the kids today [both mad on harry hill for the characters, they dont understand the rest of the program] and they were made up. so thats pleased me.

i am happy with my characters and remember, like i forgot, mad snow on monday may have hampered despatch.
There's someone in my head, but it's not me
  • I posted on the Daily Mail website under the name Cranhamg - basically I've been accused of working for the company and pretending that I received mine (*sigh*)

Mine arrived today by recorded delivery (I agree it should have been sent by special delivery)

It measures 25cms from the top of the ear to the bottom of the leg - about 10 inches?

It is a pale yellow and mauvy stripes, with a lovely little label at the back saying it is the knitted character and can ride a jelly etc.

As a family we are delighted and I can't really remember from the tv programme whether the colours are the same, but if they are not the kids haven't noticed. The quality is excellent and extremely well made.

I hope those still waiting get theirs in time

I personally believe that the company took on too many orders, then the bad weather hit and the postal service (which is very hit and miss at the moment) hasn't helped

Another one not arrived with no response to any emails:mad:

I bought one for my daughters birthday on 15th December, ordered it on 21st November and plenty of emails telling me not to worry. I feel well and truly stitched up!!;)
  • Mine arrived today. Up until then I really thought I had been scammed.

However mine (ordered on the 5th December) was not sent recorded or even next day deliver as the e-mail I received on 21st lead me to believe. It was sent normal 1st class post.

It's a little smaller then I expected and an off white colour, but with two small children, nothing stays white for long.
  • Mine is about 10 inches too - it looked smaller at first because it had been squashed into the package. It is not as well made as the one they show in the photo on the website - I would have expected the photo to be an accurate representation of what I could expect to be sent. If there had been an actual photo of what I got I wouldn`t have placed my order. Given that it cost £14.48 I`d expect something very close to the toy used in the show....I wouldn`t pay more than £3 or £4 for what I have got.

  • Just had my post.... and guess what...............they have NOT arrived!!!!
    What a surprise!!!
Im still keeping my fingers crossed, but not holding out much hope!
  • P.s - what happened to the thread on the Daily Mail forum??!!!
  • Yes where has the Daily Mail forum gone to? I posted on there at just after midnight to say I'd just received an email from 'Sally' with the same old delivery info on it. Still not received anything. Fed up as I ordered n 15 Nov so surely should've arrived by now!
  • Not sure what's happened to the Daily Mail forum, there's something written about abuse or something?! I to have been waiting for the last 3 days for the Knitted Character to arrive, not happy at all. It's a real shame because this was a main present for Christmas. It's strange that some people say they've received it and others have not, sadly i'm with the latter. The whole thing is a sham. I ordered it on the basis that it was guaranteed to arrive in time for Christmas, this has turned out to be a terrible lie.
