I ordered one too but don't think it will be arriving now.
I have ordered another from cloth-ears as at least they have been featured in the press and also have great feedback on ebay, so at least I should get one even if it will be after Christmas now.
I will lodge a complaint with Paypal for the other payment and hope to get it sorted that way.
What a bunch of con artists!!0 -
So your question basically is.. 'Where is the knitted character this week?'0
-
I ordered my knitted character on 30/11/2009 and as it was guaranteed for christmas I thought it would be here quite quickly, but still no sign and I emailed asking them if they have a tracking number but all I got was.
"A final update for those who have already ordered from us or are considering doing so:
> All orders made before 10/12/09 have been knitted, packed and dispatched for xmas – we dearly hope you enjoy your new knitted character.
> All orders made after 10/12/09 will be knitted, packed and dispatched W/C 1/1/10
Again, the sincerest of thanks for your patience and for the delightful xmas cards, well wishing and thanks we’ve received – its been fantastic.
All the very best)
Sally.

So sent another email telling them I know all this and that I wanted a tracking number so I could track my parcel, but haven't had a reply, so I opened a claim with Nochex, but I've not used Nochex before so don't know what to expect.0 -
Is it me, or is the knitted character actually crochet?0

I am in the same position, ordered mine on 5th dec and have had nothing but automated emails back. I have opened a dispute with them, google give them 5 days to respond. Gutted though because I really wanted it as an xmas gift for my sister!0

I ordered mine on 5th Dec, too, and got the email everyone else got on Monday 21st saying that all those ordered prior to 10 Dec had now been dispatched by Royal Mail's guaranteed Next Day Packetpost service and would therefore arrive by Tuesday am. WRONG! I emailed them yesterday to point out that the only guaranteed next day delivery service is Special Delivery. Needless to say, it did not arrive yesterday and has not arrived today yet, either, though some people on the Daily Mail forum say they're starting to arrive today (by Recorded Delivery, not Special Del).0

Has anyone else had difficulties or in fact received theirs? Starting to think it has all been a big online con.
Mine arrived today but it was predominantly yellow and very small - perhaps that is my fault for not asking but iwas expecting it to be about 10" or thereabouts and it is nore like 5". It looks very good in shape etc but the colours are awful. I am so disapponted. I can't help thinking cloth ears are involved a bit though as two days ago they reopened for orders having closed for the entire run up to christmas when the other comapany were open. Seems like no business sense at all unless they are one and the same owner?

Mines not arrived either, ordered 22nd November!! Have logged a dispute with Paypal.
According to the website it's supposed to be '11" of wooly goodness' not 5". Perhaps you got one of the kids ?0 -
I had two of these delivered today and I am bitterly disappointed. Haven`t been able to have a good look as my son is around but the colours are not right and the figure is tiny. The description clearly says `as seen on TV` and they cost £14.48 each with P&P.
I think they have been very cunning sending them out so late as I suspect many buyers would have returned them for a refund. One of mine was ordered on behalf of a friend and I am not sure if she will want it as it is rubbish.
Anyone else had them and not happy?
ETA - the website does not appear on google search any more......I think we have been had. I am off to read the terms of google checkout to see how things stand.
Edited again....google checkout says the seller may chqarge a restocking or processing fee. But the website is no longer there to check their policy. Personally I feel they have mis-described these figures asthey are most definitely not ` as seen on TV`
What thoughts do others have? Feeling very cross and ripped off atm.0 -

Yes it is actually crocheted, Mum pointed that out the first time she was on Harry Hill.
The one I ordered arrived earlier today, it's not an exact copy, as it's off-white, not white and slightly smaller. It's crocheted too even though the label says it was hand knitted.
And the website is still there because I just checked.0
