just done a search for harry hill tv burp, and at the top of google search is theknittedcharacter.com clicked on and the website is up and running and taking orders! got a lovely section on "how great we are"

maybe they should be sorting out very unhappy customers, still no response at all to my three emails last one sent 1/1/10 i have sent to the undelivered email address, or my messages via google checkout.

the site makes me laugh, they state: orders after the 10.12.09 will be dispatched 1.1.10 - how many more upset customers are going to be outthere next week, when they don't turn up. 33 days and still no KC.

Indeed, I'm pleased that you've got yours but I fear you may be in the minority. Unfortunately, it would seem there is a lot more of us who are Knitted Character-less.

As a side note, Helen have you actually had your refund?

I was told that they could not refund mine through Paypal. They sent me the following PM.

"The funds are not available while this transaction is being reviewed.
As this does not enable us to return funds (as they are being held - you can corroborate this with the payment processor) - we will issue a cheque and send this on Monday."

Now, I appreciate the refund (it's the least they can do) but my worry is that it will not actually happen, after all it has been over a month since I ordered KC and it's still not arrived.

What do we think? Is the whole Paypal situation correct? Can they not refund?

Hi Scott, yes my refund reached my bank today. I paid via google checkout though not paypal so it may be different, although I can't see why as paypal normally process other refunds OK don't they? I'd contact paypal and ask them. Could be cos of the number of disputes raised paypal have frozen their trading account maybe?

it seems reading this people have had problems ordering and paying via paypal or no chex. i paid direct from the website using my debit card and no proble4ms.

is this where the problem lies perhaps?

but the official site werent taking orders fior christmas. i went there first before trying 'sally' and getting 2 of them just before christmas. ordered last week of november.

the 'official' site had closed their doors due to demand so wy do people lie?

Perhaps, but unlikely. I recieved an email from Sally confirming that the order was placed. In addition, the money has been taken from my account. I can't see what the problem would be. Unless I'm missing something?

and for those who say the emails are bouncing, tonight i received an email from 'sally' from the KC Team. not a bounce. persoanl email. moved by my comments i sent them regards the order i received just in time for christmas that wouldnt have been the be all and end all if it had arrived a bit late.

and how im pleased with the order.

which just feeds my suspicions that some one here are ling and bitter 'rivals' to the KC Team.

No one will mind their orders being late if the team had been honest and not tried to fob off people with lies and standard e-mails.
