  • oooh my toilets of the world calendar came today for DS:T:cool:
Having a chuckle at how long it has been for some people on here.
It is difficult to find privacy here too but we take full advantage of DS being at his dads every other weekend.....sometimes we end up not even getting dressed at all:o:p:cool:;) (tmi) .....mind you we have only been together 3 years so if it is more than a day or two I dont like it.....maybe when we have been together years I will be glad of 6 weeks rest on doctors orders:rotfl:

Zippy The boxes & pavolva are fab :T Well done you!

NPM I've been married for almost 22 years now so maybe that's why ;) Mind you I may give him a *treat* for Christmas :D:rotfl:

Now if anyone would like to take my 4 [STRIKE]horrors[/STRIKE] lovely children for a couple of days I'd be more than willing to drop them off. They are all housetrained (well nearly!) and only consume a fridge's worth of food plus the biscuit & cake tins, oh and 48 yoghurts and 6 litres of juice and 42 pints of milk and 7 loaves of bread a week ;):D I'll keep the dogs with me as they go to bed when asked! Don't be shy ladies & form an orderley queue :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: DH will be thrilled with his early Christmas pressie!

Off for a bath to warm up soon then going to do some knitting. I couldn't resist starting with the new wool ;) Plus I need something to do when DH's in as he doesn't know about the cross stitch.

where do you get the energy from:p
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • I think it is a good stress reliever;) we have a pretty stressful time so maybe thats why i get antsy if I go more than a day or two:rotfl:.......I don`t know how enthusiastic I will be after 22 years Sunnygirl:p.....

Redruby, so sorry to hear about your Dad (((hugs)))
  • Evening all
Hugs to Taplady & Redruby, Lowsey, when I was pregnant it was like I was sucking pennies. HJ, we miss you, come back.
I'm back from babysitting, Lovely to see DGD & DGS, tho DGD isn't well, poor little scrap sat on my lap for a cuddle for the entire time I was there.
It was a dicey drive home, the roads are like a skating rink.
I left work laden with chocolates, biscuits & smellies, it seems I am appreciated by some staff members.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Taplady There's more ways to skin a cat. ;):D

Celyn Sounds like you had a real pulling your hair out day. Shame you couldn't recycle the magazines to be your sisters christmas present. :D

Ruby Sorry to hear about your Dad. My Mum was diagonised with dementia in her early to mid 70's. Her's was particularly nasty in that it progressed very rapidly. Terrible disease to witness especially with you own loved ones. I found it heartbreaking. Your Mum will really need you. xx

Lowesy I was still gripping a bowl & throwing up on the Labour table with my first. It lasted 9 months. I have real fond memories of it. NOT. :)

DH got up early, like 5.30am to start cementing. Not sure what the neighbours think of that. :D Especially on a saturday morning.

Haribo asked me to tell you she's stuck in a tree with the chooks. She should be down before Christmas. :snow_grin
Well I hope you have a great sleep. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

  • Ruby - sorry to hear about your Dad ((((Hugs))))

Just got back in had a day out with DD's. Went to the pictures this afternoon to see Christmas Carol in 3D - oh my goodness 3D has come on since the days of cardboard red and green glasses! The animation and the 3D was amazing.:D Then had tea out and then went to the theatre to see Peter Pan the Ballet - was brilliant! Feel very christmas-y now.

Will catch up with thread now.
