  • One can claim back from credit card companies yes you are right but 'paid via debit card was what was said and you cannot claim back via debit card, confirmed by Trading Standards'.

This company is a joke and not a very funny one at that. They need to be set up by Watchdog. Would be very easy to do. After all they are crying out for sales and appointments for their valuations.

    Watchdog here we come!!!!
  • Can I just point out - DO NOT believe everyone on this website, I have just received an extremely disturbing private message from someone who has recently posted comments on this site and I am of the belief, due to the contents of that message, that they are imposters working for SYH4free and are attempting to sabotage our correct beliefs regarding the running of this company. Do not believe everything you read on here!!!!

Forum etiquette is generally that a PM is just that a PRIVATE message, albeit from a dodgy person. You could comment on it though, for example what is ‘disturbing’ about it?

Suffice to say for the millionth time, that this company are scammers! Choosing to believe anything positive about them only shows the desperate situation you are in.

The scam works on your desperation!

    Scam scum, through and through…

Exactly the reason why I haven't pasted it onto this site! I will not divulge the contents of the private message - etiquette or no etiquette - and I am aware that this company are far from legit and do not need you to remind me of this. May I also point out that I am extremely offended at your remarks that I am desparate so please refrain from making any further comments to me, I was only trying to warn people to be careful.

I have advised the person who sent me the private message of my concerns and the person has replied but has not explained their comments and has merely made an attempt to assure me that "You have got me all wrong".

If my refund (as promised) is not received by next Wednesday I will be issuing an N1 against this company for breach of contract - they have been made aware of this.

If you read the whole of this, and other similar MSE scam threads, you’ll see that companies like this thrive on people’s needs.

One of those needs in this case most definitely is ‘desperation to sell’. So pray tell what made you do business with them?

If you’re extremely offended at my ‘remarks’ I can only suggest you stay off internet forums. You have certainly ‘got ME all wrong’.

Well good luck with that. Don’t hold your breath!

whats going on here, this is not right arguing amongst yourselves. this forum is about helping each other and giving much needed money saving advice. we should all be friends together, sharing information in the hope that it will help others who may get trapped into syh4free web of lies and greediness

Exactly what I was trying to do "help people" but someone feels the need to comment on something he/she is not obviously involved in and will not be getting a further rise out of me.

You know, if this was not a good scam, it would not have taken in so many people and still be going! These are professional scammers and they make their scam sound very plausible, as that is what they do best! I think anyone who is posting of their experience on here and warning other people is doing a great job- the more publicity that can be generated the better. If anyone believes another poster is an imposter working for syh4f then i think it's vital this is spelt out, as CathP has done.

Did anyone get any response form Watchdog? I am so  with this company just through what I have read on here.

I agree Drodough, we are here to help each other, not get sidetracked into bickering with each other. I reported to Watchdog too, no news on that front, maybe not enough people are complaining to make it worthwhile, Trading Standards are less than worthless, doesnt leave us with much else. I sense less than enthusiasm for the support group idea, I am on the verge of giving up and just accepting the pittance I have been offered for my home from a developer just so I can get on with my life without all this stress.
