PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Please everybody stop and think
I started this thread back in December 2009 because i was nearly scammed by this company, this is the first time in a couple of months i have been back as the concensus was that they had disappeared it sounds like this new lot are the same company if anybody visits your property to buy or survey try to get a photo of him and post on this forum I bet he will look remarlably like Peter Stevens the syh4free valuer (if you do this be careful beacuse they have got abusive with some posters on this forum).
Any agent that wants money up front is scamming you, ask if your solicitor can hold the money in an independant holding account as they are required by law to do with rental deposits I bet you dont hear from them again.0
