Do they have a website? What is the £1200 fee for? Never pay any fees tp anyone who finds you a buyer until at least exchange of contracts has taken place."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Hi I also have been contacted by a company today asking about my house. They said they have a buyer and all i would have to pay is 1% if i agree an offer. The name was something like sell your house the 1% agent but they didnt leave any other details, they said they would email me and then call me tomorrow to take more info. Did a quick search and found this thread. Has anyone had dealings with these guys recently? Me and my partner are desperate to sell but im worried that this is a scam! Any advise?0

Sounds like sell your house for free all over again. Hope so then maybe trading standards can nail them this time. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!0

Perhaps someone should call the number on the Investment Property Group website and see if you recognize any voices. Even better if you get someone around and notice a face. I bet it's the same people. Even if not it's the same type of scam. STAY AWAY FROM THESE ONES IF YOU WANT TO HOLD ONTO YOUR MONEY. Let's not give up the battle just yet. We worked hard for our money. I don't know about you guys, but I think it's worth looking into. They've probably blown the money they took from all of us and are looking for another quick fix. Property scam is easy, and they would probably continue to do it until they are caught. If anyone looks into this, please keep us updated.:)0

Hi, They still have not come back to me yet but I know they charge 1% if I get a good offer. Can anyone tell me more information about this sell your house company, they sound very similar and I dont want to lose money if they are not for real!0

They can't have found a buyer for your house of you're not advertising your house for sale with them. Any buyer who was interested in your house would contact your EA, not some other third party."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
They said that they have buyers approach them wanting to build portfolios of properties, sounds like an aquisition service who work this way which sounds plausible. Really need to sell, does anyone have a positive story to tell?0
