For those of you haven't you should do so now.
Very surprised the Police would suggest doing this?- TruthSeeker, what is the reason for this? Are they investigating? Which force, and who is the contact?
With all due respect to TruthSeeker, I would urge people NOT to email Truthseeker, but rather to IM this member through mse and request the contact details of the contact at the Police, and share your information in THIS WAY only.
Just my opinion0 -
You are exactly right Drodough. I went to the police as my first point of call with this lot and was told it was a civil matter. Either to contact trading standards and they had the powers to sort it out and get my money back or to get a solicitor to send a letter. The only time they said to ring them back ( as I do have an incident number and someone rang me back to take the full story ) was if the company catagorically refused to send my money back after going through the correct procedures with trading standards. I have gone through the correct procedures and have been promised my money back time and time again and yet again today. However now I AM GETTING fed up and will actually ring my local police back myself with my incident number to report the fraud again and see if there is anything else they can do as this is CLEARLY fraud if they refuse to let you have your money back if you want to cancel, however you paid.

I agree it is not a good idea to publish your email address on this forum as you never know who is posting or viewing.
If the Police are interested then let us know who to contact and we can all send details, i personally have kept all the emails and documentation from these !!!!!! so there's lots of evidence.
Truthseeker I notice this is your first post, have you also lost money?
I also think this is a bad idea, I am sorry if I offend anyone, but do we know anything about this email address? Trading Standards are investigating this lot now, I got a call saying I would be getting a questionaire in the post and I might need to make a statement but that's no problem, if more people did this,we could have stopped this a whole lot earlier. :mad:0 -
Hi,
I only came across this forum last night and i have to inform you that we have been scammed by this company again. Its quite amusing reading through everyones comments and it was exactly the same as what we experienced.
We have been dealing with SYH4 Free for the last 3 months. my suspisions were raised a few weeks ago regarding the company. I even did reasearch about them on the internet in December and everything looked legit. There was nothing about them like this forum has.
We have contacted the police as they actually have my husbands PASSPORT and has done the last 5 weeks!! Only just come to light that this company is a scam and the problem this has caused us. The police are sending out a fraud team as we have lost 3.5K with them.
Consumer direct told me this morning that if you paid SYH4F on the credit card, then they say they had these problems and them you did a bank tranfer, the under sec 75 of the consumer act, the credit card company is liable for ALL of it. As it is a breach of the contract with SYH4F. Weve written a letter off to the cc people and see what happens! Ill keep you up dated
We are more concerned about my husbands passport as they have had it for so long!!!!!!
CAnt believe that they have scammed sooo many people reading through this forum and nothing really has been done to stop them!!!0 -
Hi everyone. Well it looks like Trading Standards are finally getting on board. I have received a letter today asking me to complete a questionnaire about SYH4Free/Property Solutions. They have said "Your assistance will provide us with further information on the companies trading practices and help us to decide what action it may be appropriate to take to prevent any future consumer detriment". It may not help people get their money back but hope that they are now on the road to being closed down and hopefully no-one else will be ripped off. Has anyone else heard from Surrey Council Trading Standards?0

Hi Cath
I got the same questionnaire today. My local TSO is also helping with trying to get my money back of which the cheque is SUPPOSED to be in the post today but I wait with BAITED BREATH. And to Jennifer Hurley. The building that SYH4 free are renting office space in is The Regis Business Centre 50 Broadway St James Park. London. I have telephoned the business centre and they confirmed that they do rent office space in the building, this is the catch tho. Office space can be rented by the HOUR, DAY, WEEK, MONTH etc. They probably just go there a couple hours week. My recorded letters have been signed for there and received. However heard on this forum that the office rental company are actually investigating them for fraudulent activity also, probably alerted by Trading Standards. Gets better eh?0 -
Oh and Jennifer. I believe Mohammed Shiraz and Mohammed Ramzan and Mustapha Yilmaz to be the same person. Check it out! The police will know soon enough!.:eek:0

I have just had a letter returned to me this morning after I sent SYH the letter to:
Dalton House
60 Windsor Avenue
London
The letter was returned to me by Royal Mail with ADRESSEE UNKNOWN
Although as they have a couple of addresses one being Dalton House and the other Broadway I presume they have left the Dalton House address and are close to doing a runner.0 -
THEY LEFT DALTON HOUSE MANY WEEKS AGO.I got mail returned to me about 8 weeks ago,i contacted dalton house who were able to tell me that SYH had been there for about 6 weeks, last i heard they were at 50 BRODWAY SW1 ORG near st james park, but that was about 3 weeks ago,god knows where they are now.0

We also had a returned letter back from them this morning, with a returned Royal mail sticker on saying that the addresses gone away!
We paid by bank transfer so doubt very much that we will see our money back!
When we went to the citizen Advice bureau last week about all this, we were informed that SYH4F was a legit company!!!!! I don't think so!0
