    This thread is unbelievable.
  • Too late!! I've also been scammed. Talked to my Solicitor who suggested I contact Trading Standards (tel. 0845 4040506); who in turn have opened a case for me and suggested I write to them in person. The letters will be going out first thing tomorrow morning (Recorded Delivery) one to Deryk Hillier's home address and the other to their address in Wimbledon; but after reading some of the posts here I'm not holding my breath. I've gleaned a couple of intersting bits one is David Shaw's mobile number on this thread (thanks!!), the other is the other Address at St James Park. Also I ran this url (h t t p://domain-daily.com/whois/syh4free.com)-(remove the spaces) and have gleaned another company name from this (property solutions uk) so I might get somewhere with this...

T Chorley. You wont get anywhere. They have left the St James Park address also. Deryk Hillier is 84 years old and is no longer director. Mohammed Ramzan or Mohammed Shiraz a pseudonym and known fraudster is director now. Trading standards have already been to see Deryk Hillier so I wouldnt bother writing there. None of the phones are working, the flying rats have left the coup so to speak. No chance of getting any money back. Trading standards are investigating but I dont think that they will find them now to be frank. Forget it and move on you wont see your money again. Sorry but its fact.
  • found another interesting article on a mohammed ramzan in birmingham

30 May 2006 COMMISSION REFERS HEROIN CONVICTION OF MOHAMMED RAMZAN TO THE COURT OF APPEAL

The Criminal Cases Review Commission has referred the conviction for conspiracy to supply heroin of Mr Mohammed Ramzan to the Court of Appeal. Mr Ramzan was convicted at Birmingham Crown Court on 12 March 1992 and sentenced to 14 years in prison

The prosecution contended that Mr Ramzan was involved in a plan to smuggle 12 kilos of heroin from Pakistan to Birmingham.
In May 1994 the Full Court dismissed Mr Ramzan’s appeal against conviction and an appeal against sentence. He applied to the Commission in November 2005.

The case is one of a number reviewed by the Commission which relate to Operation Brandfield, a police inquiry into historic Her Majesty’s Customs & Excise operations involving the controlled delivery of drugs.

Having considered a range of issues, including informant handling issues and evidence from the Operation Brandfield inquiry, the Commission has decided to refer the case back to the Court of Appeal.

The Commission is the independent public body set up by Parliament in 1997 to investigate possible miscarriages of justice in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to decide if they should be referred to the appeal courts.

Mr Ramzan is not legally represented.

This press release was issued by Boris Worrall, Head of Communication, Criminal Cases Review Commission on 0121 633 1806 or 07947 355231.
  • I don't know but I think I found the same guy. This company is still up and running. If anyone can call this company and ask to speak with the director Mohammed Ramzan and see if it is him. This company is based in Birmingham, and if you look at past posts, Birmingham keeps coming up in a lost of them. Maybe it's nothing and I am just being suspicious, but how many Mohammed Ramzan's are there in the UK running "property management" companies..

I am sorry to keep posting, but I have found something very interesting. This company h t t p:/ /afastersale.net/sell-your-home-4-free.html
has the same exact phrases(I mean word for word) that SYH4Free had on their site. It's also kind of funny that one of their main links is what I listed.(sell your HOME for free instead of house.)
I tried calling several times but got a voice mail. It was a very unprofessional recorded greeting just saying im not here etc etc. I tried calling again later and it had been disconnected.
It HAS to be the same guy. The site is registered under the name Rick Holland
I read somewhere that this "Rick or PAtrick" guy is in Spain atm on business...Hmm..So is that where they fled to?

    Hi all,

Could any body let me know if they were able to get their desposit back if they paid by bank transfer? I've read previous messages on this site saying a couple of people have got their money back as they paid by credit card. We were not given this option by SYH4F and were only directed to pay by bank transfer. That was nearly 3 months ago!:(

We have been to the Citizen's Advice Bureau, who informed us that the company sounded a scan, and we have also contacted trading standards, who sent us a questionnaire which we have filled in and returned. We only mentioned the company SYH4F to trading standards, but when we received the questionnaire to fill in from them, they also listed the company of Property Solutions, so it sounds as though a lot of people have contacted trading standards and they are aware of this company trading under different names. SCUM!!!!! Because of these horrid people my husband and I cannot afford a holiday this year, not even a weekend away!

sorry comet13 but if you have paid by bank transfer you will never see your money again.I paid by credit card and although i did get my money back at the beginning of march,my card company told me that they now have to chase these scum for the funds.Barclaycard fraud officer phoned me and told me that when they would have received the funds in their account they would immediatly withdraw them so all their accounts were empty. And another thing it seems like they have had at least 3 different accounts according to some previous posts.
