So what have they said? Remember talk is cheap and they will tell you anything to get you off the phone - remember the initial sales patter. If anyone believes that these people can be trusted to refund monies paid to them then I am afraid that you are deluding yourselves

Not loaded is right - concerted group effort is a way forward
  • spoke to M******! had the usual excuse the documents are in the post! yeah right! I did state that should this sale fall through that me and my family are going to be on the streets as the money i have paid them could have done a lot i.e pay bills etc. I have asked for details of buyers solicitors etc to be emailed to my solicitor A.S.A.P ........WATCH THIS SPACE!

heyjude33 - sorry to be blunt but whatever you tell them will have no effect whatsoever - they are not concerned as to whether you will be without a home, suffering from serious illness or anything - they have your money and that is all they are interested in. If you are expecting a house sale to go through then frankly I think you have more chance of seeing something pink flying by your window. Yes they will continue to fob you off - meanwhile time passes and you will be no further on.

You can have no expectations of these people honouring anything
  • I think what people are saying about Trading Standards being useless is correct, unfortunately. But if the majority of people complain to Watchdog and the scam is then put on tv, then the gov't agencies will be forced to take action. As long as a scam is kept hidden and not made public via tv, the gov't agencies feel they don't have to do much.

It's easy to contact Watchdog and you only have to write a brief note to them on their website. If they are interested, then they will contact you for more details. If enough of us complain to them, they should contact us.

    Strength in numbers!

  • They contacted me last night around 7pm.... I havent had time to do anything about it as yet but is on y list of things to do!
I will certainly be taking this further and urge others to do the same.

Watch this space I will keep you all updated as soon as.....

I noticed that the recent car 'scams' are now been publicised on TV shows like the One show and a couple of others so hopefully it will be this next!!!!
  • Why don't you all get together outside thier office and stage a protest- that will draw some attention to the cause :). Invite some reporters!

What they are doing is awful, hope there is a resolution soon.
