Concert tickets arriving late

Also with the high rate of failure to get a signature on RD items. There is a possibility the buyer could open an INR even if they did get them, (not that i'm condoning this)
Yes, I was very careful to use the phrase legitimate claim. I hope the OP lets us all know how this resolves itself.0 -
The seller should just pay up. While one may expect the tickets to have arrived within five days, they didn't. This time of the year nobody knows when anything is going to arrive unless via a courier.
Keeping the postage price down on ebay is normally an attraction and therefore one has a higher possibility of selling an item.catch220 -

As in my post a legitimate claim will work also.Cyberbob wrote:Ahh yes they would. If they open a SNAD there is a very high chance of them winning. There was a seller on the community boards a few months back moaning as paypal had ruled against him as he sent tickets too late. Paypals ruling was because there was a date in the listing of the event if the item arrived after the event it was unusable so not as described
quoting myself now:eek:0 -
I am grateful to Cyberbob for citing a proper example of how Paypal works.0

antispam246 wrote: »Skimmed thread so may have been mentioned already, just a warning to OP. Your saying they haven't turned up purely based on the buyer saying they haven't and the RM tracking indicating they haven't arrived/been signed for right?
Be watchful, I notice this alot, especially during christmas period when temps are used for deliveries etc.. alot of recorded even signed for post just gets put through the box with no record of a signature, so on the RM system it apears as if it was never delivered but it may well have been, there's just no proof.
This actually happened to me last week, after buying something from Ebay. There was the big sticker saying 'signed for' and it was sat on my hallway mat! Would never have thought to claim I hadn't recieved it, but can see that it would have left my seller in a dodgy position.:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -

There also seems to be a fine line between saving money, consumer revenge, and out and out stiffing somebody over.
Sadly this line is often blurred on posts around here, and it only seems to be getting more prevalent with people "knowing their rights", and "where there's blame there's a claim".
Nobody seems to want to accept responsibility for their actions these days, and nobody likes to admit they were wrong, especially if money is involved.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
