I think most buyers would credit their sellers with the modicum of common sense to use a delivery method that would not warrant the goods unusable.

Again, I am not disagreeing but as a buyer I would also know which service would be most suitable and if I was discontented with the service offered I would ask that it be upgraded to be on the safe side and pay extra for the priviledge.:smileyhea0 -

why should the buyer know or care?
its up to the seller to sort out the correct postage and get the tickets to them on time0 -

It doesn't actually say anywhere on ebay that a seller has to ensure something they sell arrives within 5 days. A buyer can't even open a not received claim until 7 days.0 -
Op - 2 questions:
1.) What does RM tracking say online?
2.) Were these seated or standing tickets?0 -

right but with tickets the idea is the buyer gets the item in time for the actual concert
are you just not getting this?
all the seller will get is neg'd,lose their payment plus lose the original cost of ther tickets
because THEY didnt send via SD
the buyer will miss the concert0 -

Yes, I understand perfectly well that the aim of both parties was to have the tickets delivered before the event date, however it is not a Paypal rule or an eBay rule, so, unless it was explicitly stated in the listing that the tickets would arrive before the date, the seller has technically done nothing wrong.
As I mentioned in my previous posts the buyer would not be able to make a legitimate Paypal claim if the tickets arrive today.0 -

with statements as outlandish, ill-informed and bizarre as this, I call troll.
Really though, why would somebody buy tickets if they did not want then to arrive in time for the gig?
I put it to you that you are just here to entertain us with your stupidity.0 -

I'm not trolling. If you read my other messages you will see that I have advised the seller to refund out of generosity. If you can find a link to somewhere on Paypal to explain how this item is not as described please do.
I realise the buyer wanted them in time for the gig but you have to be a pretty stupid buyer to buy tickets for a gig in 5 days when you can see the seller has used a postage service that is unlikely to get you the tickets in time.0 -

Also with the high rate of failure to get a signature on RD items. There is a possibility the buyer could open an INR even if they did get them, (not that i'm condoning this)0
