Thanks, that is the trouble I am having. I called the local JobCentre but they said I have to look online, and the info online is useless...

the post office have alist on the wall of the dates payments will be in account etc well they do in my area anyway
  • I'm in NE Lincs, and due IS on 25th - I've run now three times (I'm paranoid it won't come in as I'm relying on it to fund the final Christmas shop - if it doesn't, I'm screwed) over December and been told it'll be released three days early to ensure it's paid on the 23rd each time.
  • Well i'm hoping my Income Support will be paid on the 24th (its due on monday the 28th).

Online banking with my account usually registers it as received at 4AM.
    Oh what's the bloody point...?

My housing benefit is normally paid by BACS on alternate Mondays. It's due to be paid on Monday 28th (a Bank Holiday) but having rung my local council, the man just told me it will be a day late....

Benefit and State Pension payments over Christmas 2009

    • Published: Monday, 21 December 2009
If you get benefits or a State Pension and are due payment over Christmas or New Year you you should get your payment earlier than normal.

Doesn't give the days so useless

Absolutely! I just checked. Why bother to put that down if they don't give the payment days:confused:. My SP is due to be paid into my bank on 25th December so I guess I'll get it on the 24th?

  • Hi

(I'm a Newbie, so if this has been posted before... sorry)

There is a payment of income support due on Monday, 28th December 09. But it is obviously going to be early.

Does anyone have any idea when this payment will be paid in?

Would it be tomorrow (Wed 23 Dec) or Christmas eve?

    Thanks
