I am in NI and my DLA is 29th, so I assume this will be paid on the 23rd or 24th?
Also strange one here.
My IB payment day is the Wednesday the 30th but it is always in on the Tuesday which is the 29th. Anyone know if it will be early or not?0 -
Here's the rub... My IS payments are due 22nd & 29th December. No panic over the 22nd obviously, but since they are paid directly into my bank account I'm not sure when exactly I'll receive the latter.
Now then, banks may well be open again on tuesday the 29th, they are after every bank holiday. But whenever a Bank holiday comes up my benefits are in my account the saturday before. (I assume this is administration issues with the bank being closed a day and unable to process it on the monday, given DWP departments are open fridays). Now then given the banks & DWP offices are likely to be closed 24th to 29th I am left in a quandry as to when the hell it will land in the account.

I get my child tax credits paid by giro due to major problems with HRMC despite previously getting it paid into bank. Any way I was wondering when I would be able to cash my giro since the next one is due on 25 December!
thanks for any help.0 -
TC's payments due on 25/12 & 1/1:
I presume that they would both be paid on the 24/12 & 31/12 - would I be correct?
Thanks in advance

I would imagine you would be able to cash it about the 23rd/24th. They usually have posters up in the post office regarding this.*SIGH*0
