Same problem here too, i cant get through to abbey though.

We get our income support paid into the bank. Our fortnightly payment is due on 24/12/09 and it was paid into the bank today.

my IB due 29th its not in today thought it would have been maybe tomorrow for me to .

Post Office is definitely shut on the 28th - it's a bank holiday.

Hi.. My tax credits went in OK (I'm with Natwest). But my JSA isnt, was told by benefit agency that I wasnt the only one as it have affected everyone who's money was due today. It was due to computer error - was told either I can get it in giro form or get it paid into my bank after 3.30pm.

your on the same signing week as me ,what will happen your payment sent out today,23dec then in your bank account third working day after 23rd , but as christmas is on friday the following monday is classed as a bank holiday so should be in your account on the wednesday, so you got

sent out wednesday
christmas eve thursday normal day
tuesday normal day
wednesday in your account

as im with the ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND my payments get cleared early , so where as i would normally get my payment on a monday i can get cash on the saturday ,but shows up on statement the monday date , so keep checking your account , but dont forget if you dont get payment early you cant do nothing until three days after what would be your normal sign day , as the benefits section says sending money out early is doing you a favour . :rolleyes:

yes it will be the 29th, issue date means the date the payment is released and then it is 3 working days after that, so it will be the 29th.

Went to get some money this morning, and found I had none. I too am an Abbeycustomer.

Let me know if they go in please, those who haven't received yet.

Hi i normally get my tac credits by giro its not due untill the tuesday but i always get it on the friday before,, but as this friday is christmas day does anyone know when i will get it?

I'm with Abbey too, and my WTC always goes in on a Wednesday and has not gone in to today. Please can anyone update if they know if it will go in tomorrow?
