    I got the same email.

I think it means credited towards your LeRedoute Account; not your bank account. Therefore you don't owe them anything further.

Going by the email sent yesterday, I think the blankets have been dispatched. :j Fingers crossed.

I've got the same E-Mail but no dispatch E-Mail yet.

I had this e-mailed this morning

    Dear *******

Thank you for your payment as detailed below. This has been credited to
your account and is currently being processed through the bank clearing
systems, which normally takes approximately 5 working days.

    Payment date Value
    10/01/10 £2.25

    La Redoute Customer Care Team

Does this mean i won't be getting my blanket???
I read on my bank statement that they have only taken £2.25, then I get this today...im a bit confused :(

I usually get the same email when i order from la redoute however the money is always debited from my bank account. Im not certain i'll get my blanket going by the previous posts. Its a pity there are always delays with this company as i really like the style and quality of the childrens clothes.
  • I've phoned and spoken to them and the lady said it is in transit, it left the warehouse yesterday.
The lady said they couldn't predict how popular the blankets were going to be and unfortunately run oos before Christmas and since then their supplier has been messing them about, but they have now finally taken delivery from the supplier

We have had several emails in the last couple of days, the most recent saying that they cannot fulfill the order and have taken the money out in error, but they have applied for a refund, when I check my bank account they have taken the money TODAY! the order was placed before xmas and we received a confirmatory email from them.

I hope we are not faced with a company in financial trouble trying to shore up their finances in £2.50 steps.....

Top Tip, do not ever deal with this company ever, ever, again.....
