If you call the 0800 number they won't discuss it, just give you the other number
Edited to say that the lady I spoke to was very aware that lots of people were very unhappy about the situation! Also, if you do ring, it's worth staying on the line at the end of your call because there's a customer survey - one question "how likely, on a scale of 1-5, are you to recommend our company to other people?" Shame they don't have a 0 option!!

    This outfit are beyond belief!!
Had emails saying its coming had email saying they have taken the money and today it arrived-- nope-not the blanket just a load of paperwork. So I rang their CS. Very nice lady in Wakefield. Told it will not be coming would i like my money refunded!! Err yes!
Then asked me to do a survey --of course I did, One being the worst!! They only asked me the one questiopn which I replied with an emphatic 1.
Looking through the paperwork i came across a letter from VERTBAUDET. 'Hope you are happy with your items you have ordered unfortunately you will not be getting the free gift Xmas blanket.'
So was Redoute selling Vertbaudets free gifts??
Anyway they were offering replacement gifts. Si I rang to order a red back pack and crayon set just what i need at 64 but ok for the kid next door.
I was told I have to order, which i argued reading the letter to her. Ok we will send it but you will have to pay P&P. I argued that the letter states I do not have to make an order and it will be free of charge! I think the nice French lady [enchanting accent] gave up on me and send they would send it on the 28 Jan!! We shall see I do not hold out much hope!!

    What a shower of Pooo!!:rotfl:

I have had email saying order has been depatched, and i have been charged, so will wait and see.
I've received an empty parcel (just invoice & leaflets) today (money taken on 11th Jan).

I tried the 0800 number, only to be told that is the arrears line, and the lady gave me the 0844 number... :(
I have now emailed them to ask what's going on.

  • Got my parcel of letters this morning  Never again!!!

    How about a rescue dog?
  • I've been a La Redoute customer for quite some time and have never had a problem with them. I too have received an empty bag and am about to email them asking them to credit my account.
Because of my good experience so far, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, but we'll see how I get on.
Of note - La Redoute have several collections, one of them being Vertbaudets which is their children's collections, so I'm not convinced there's any dodgy dealings going on as yet...
  • I have just phoned them on the 0800 number to be told they are sending me a letter out which I have to sign to say the blanket wasn't in the parcel before they will credit my account!!!

My package just came, the delivery woman was puzzled saying I have parcel for you but nothing seems to be in it!!!!! and did I want to refuse it?!!!!!

I have refused it and I will give the company a call.

Cheap trick, send out nothing then everyone will cancel their orders.

    Never again for me too.
