Just had my email. I kept meaning to call them and cancel. It was my first order and so I have no customer number yet to cancel online. Probably my last order too by the look of it, gotta find somewhere to store these for Xmas 2010!

I have been emailed by these people to say they have taken £6.99 from my bank account when the original invoice clearly states that "£2.25 will be charged to xxxxx subject to acceptance and terms and conditions"

This is outrageous, I didn't authorise them to help themselves to an extra £4.74 from my bank account. Can they do this?

Did you read the terms surrounding the voucher code you decided to use? I believe the terms state that vouchers won't be accepted on sale items?

I am all for money saving and using vouchers where possible, but I can also recommend always checking the terms, otherwise all too often people throw their toys out the pram because a retailer does exactly what they say they will do with regards to honouring (or not) voucher codes.

Just a warning, I just got my parcel delivered that was supposed to have my blanket inside it, but no, just a delivery note for said blanket, a leaflet and a letter with codes off for my next order!

Called them up, apparently the letter enclosed should have been a letter explaining that the blanket was out of stock, not a letter with codes for money off!

She said that I won't be charged for the blanket and apologised and said that I should have just been sent a letter and not a parcel!

Never had an empty parcel before
  • I received an email a few days before christmas to say that all the items I ordered were out of stock. I emailed them and closed my account I was so annoyed. Received an email today saying that my free gift of a bag was about to be despatched. Wonder if I will get it.

Oh, Beanbag what a disappointment - I was so pleased to receive the despatch email but if it I get a parcel with nout other than a discount voucher I shall certainly never order from them again!

  • ordered mine but they took £3 out of my account and did not apply the discount, even though it was on the invoice, can't be bothered to complain because it was free posting anyway, but a bit cheeky, if they do this to everyone then that a few bucks they have kept.
