Awww, bless him. He is a beautiful dog (and I am not a rottie fan). I truly hope that he finds a wonderful home. You have done such a wonderful job so far and I am sure you will find the right home for him . Well done and good luck.

He's a lovely lad. I'm a fan of Rotties as I know one that is a certified hospital visitor and also visits a couple of older peoples residential homes.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

MrsTine and FC - I have a feeling you mean the same place?

I just spoke to John, will be calling him later on this evening with some more datails about Bruza, he may be able to help in some way although he is full at the moment....

    Thanks a lot

No... it wasn't called that... :) I'm not saying it's not the same guy, it may be... but it definitely wasn't the name of the rescue I was thinking about :)

How lovely to see one with its tail...we had a cocker and he was ill at time of docking so his tail stayed intact and everyone thought it was bizarre, but he looked great and i wish more of them kept them these days...i love a wagging tail :j
  • What a handsome boy and such a joy to see a Rottie with its tail still intact. He's so lucky to have found you and your friends to help find a sensible and caring new home. It's the Christmas spirit in action!

    Thanks everyone.

The priority now is to have Bruza neutered/vaccinated and microchipped - he is going to the vet on Monday morning.

And we possibly may have a permanent home for him, fingers crossed - subject to a home check/vet references (they already have one rottie) etc.
  • Awe, I dont "do" dogs but I do like them. I`m a cat person. He is gorgeous. You are lovely people.

OP I commend you for the amount of work you are doing for this boy. At times reading this thread I did wonder what you were thinking of (a reported aggressive outdoors dog you have never met before sleeping on your bed!) but between yourself, your daughter and your friend this seems to be working out ok.

Hope this boy has a happy ending. He is a handsome boy and as a rott owner myself they are a joy to own and lovely to look at ;)

Best wishes and hope this boy has a happy Xmas.

Thanks - Bruza seems to have settled well at Gosia's house and gets on fine with her own GS girl but her girl is a bit jelaous of him coming up to Gosia for cuddles and... I have a feeling Gosia is getting REALLY fond of this Rottie.....

Better find him a nice home soon or Gosia will keep him ;)
