Mine survived a trip down the loo(happily, before, not after :rotfl: ), I left it in pieces on a sunny window sill overnight, and it worked fine.
The other day, I also dropped it on the busiest street in town and a bus passed within inches ... god that phone is tough ...
(note nobody's worried about hubby ...)0 -
lol....hubbys fine....but was very embarassing at the time. When i got home i put phone on top of radiator vent.By the evening there was no condensation on the screen so we recharged it last thing at night. At the moment he is using the sim in his old phone as its still under contract. The actual phone will not even turn on now.0

My mobile has just been through the washing machine :-(
I am on £15 simplicity o2 deal which is ideal for me. I don't want to calim on insurance so I am looking for a cheap o2 friendly phone, for £30 or under. I like Nokias but as long as it is serviceable I don't mind!
Anyone spotted any good deals for payg that I could use?
Advice much appreciated. This is my fourth phone in three years! One, flushed down toilet, two eaten by dog, three lost in France. Oh dear.0 -

coinchaser - there are lots of cheap payg phones out there at the mo, it's just a case of 30 mins spent trawling the net to see who's doing them. Happy hunting !!......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Sorry if this not on the right board.
I left my 'phone on the bed, in the room next to me - and my partner has just (accidentally) put it in the washing machine - and it came out dead!
It's a Samsung, with a new sim card (on a monthly contract with o2, which began in April). I've had the 'phone quite a while and all my 'phone numbers and photographs are stored on it.
Please can you offer any advice, as I'm too upset (and irritated with my partner) to deal with this very well at the moment!
Is there anything I can do to bring it back to life (I doubt it)! And is there anything else I will need to know about?
Any help welcome - thanks in advance!0 -
The phone has probley had it.
If your numbers were also stored on the sim they should be still there.
If it was insured dont dry it out as they like to see the moisture in it to confirm what you say happened.0 -
TAKE THE BATTERY OUT ASAP!!!
the sooner you get the battery out, the more chance you have of the phone working (but its very unlikely that it will work now).0
