    I opened my account a month ago and I've just received my £100 - yippee!

    Many thanks to the OP

    DDs and salary seems to have transferred over OK - not sure how long I'll stay though as the interest rate's rubbish...

    Re other posts about people being called to say offer only open to scottish residents, out of interest, do you live in Scotland. I don't, so if you don't, maybe it gives me hope i'll receive £100!

    I'm in England, and opened an account at a random branch in Scotland. so there's hope!

    I'm just transferring several DDs, not salary and not one standing order - will this be likely good enough, or do you think they'll want more? I don't really want to move my salary then have to move it back again! And I have one huge standing order I'd prefer to leave where it is. If they asked me to move more over, I would, but I hope they don't just reject me!

    Well after sending off my bank statements and wage slips as requested, I have finally received them back today, along with a letter saying;

    'we are unable to complete your application as you have failed to respond to previous correspondence.'

    All seems a bit dodgy. Anyway I got through to a helpful lady at customer services who also said it sounds dodgy and I've got to go into a branch tomo with id and get them to sort it out.

    Why do banks always have to make it so complicated!!

    Weird, I got this letter too. The woman on the phone said that the reason was I was too slow to send them in. Apparently they have to arrive within 2 weeks.

    I have to reapply on the website. Fortunately the offer has extended to 18th August.

    Salary paid into random Scottish branch 27/07/06, £100 paid 29/07/06, the quickest I've come across, shame the interest rate stinks though.

    I was accepted and completed the paperwork. I was then asked to send my salary slips for 3 months or bank statements. Sent salary slips. However they wrote saying they note my salary is going into my bank account and now reqquire the bank statements. In the end it was too much hassle for !100.00
    pounds.

    They wrote and asked for my bank statement, which isent, now they ahev asked for three documents:

    1. A bank statement
    2. Salary slips
    3. er., a bank statement

    I'm starting to lose the will to go on with this and i havent even started the hassle of transferring DDs etc. But go on I shall!
