I've been waiting for the snowball jewellery set since C17 and no-one knows whether or not it's due in. There are also a couple of items from C18. As my next delivery arrives on the 22nd, it doesn't exactly give people much time to buy replacement gifts if they don't arrive. I'm on the verge of cancelling them altogether so that at least my customers know where they are

Funny - I had a customer order the snowball gift set last campaign and it turned up fine....I wonder who works at avon sometimes!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Kel, don't apologise for the questions. That is the point of this thread - hints and tips for Avon.
One way to keep your customers interested is to offer something. People love the word free.
You can buy things really cheaply from the Clearance part of Hello Tomorrow magazine. That is a magazine exclusively for us Avon people. Although some choose to show it to their friends and family.
You could offer a "spend £20 and receive a free gift" promotion. And then just give something from the clearance part of Hello Tomorrow (HT).
On my book 2, I am offering a 10% discount no matter how much they spend. My sales leader tells me off for this, she says I am giving away my commission but I found doing this every now and again, not frequently, keeps those customers who might not have bought... interested. I was going to skip campaign 2, as 3 of my regulars had said see you in the New Year. But a couple of the ladies have asked me what my promotion means and have asked for book 2, also those who had the £5 off selected makeup in C2, definitely want a book to buy from.
personally if you were my rep I would be thrilled that you were thinking of ways to keep people interested....hardly any of my reps seems to (they never order samples or demo products for example!) I too run offers of % off, or a free gift/samples for spending X amount - at the end of the day, you need to keep people interested, especially as you never know if someone at work were to start selling avon.....if they know you give them free things and the friend wouldn't - they might well still order from you, or at least order some bits from you & some from their friend!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
well i went out book collecting today..no orders but a few xmas cards so thats my silver lining for today...also as im still waiting for my delivery i have yet to get the second lot of books out with them and seeing as they are most of my regular customers there is still hope. yes this weeks delivery is a set back and means i wont get it all out of the way by wed as planned but after a bottle of bucks fizz (given to me by my grandpa who won it in a hamper) ive decided to be posivite and optomistic...or just fuzzy headed and happily tipsy...more excercise, more talking, more fresh air....la dee daaahcamp 12=£443 13=£425 14=£277 15=£474 16=£492 17=£438 18=£437 1=£319 2=£153:o 3=£220 :jSALES LEADER:j4=£202 5=£191 6=£167 7=£193 8=£216 9=£211

I ordered (and, sorry, received) the snowball set but have been waiting for the Digital photo frames from my last campaign. Living in hopes they'll be in my delivery due this week otherwise one of my customers will be in the same boat i.e. let down, but at least they'll have a week to do something about it.....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

...Hi there,
Right after calling the contact centre, posting on here, I emailed my Sales Leader and I used the email contact for head office. I still don't know what the upper order value is for campaign 3, 4, 5 - I know the MOV is £52. I also don't know if I will qualify for my incentive. The incentive I am talking about is - If I get HOV in C1+C2 (which I did) I got a bumper sample selection and a make up sample selection. If I get HOV in C3+C4 I get another two prizes and so on and so forth. So do I still need to get my £148 HOV or if I hit the reduced HOV if there is one, will I still qualify?
Phew, take a breath!
Also this is an additional question, but can I place another order if my last invoice is outstanding? I have £210 to pay, but £110 worth of orders still to deliver to some family who I wont see til later this week (work commitments etc). I can't afford to put that money in myself and I need to place C3 order tonighteek! Will I be able to? It does say you have 13 days from invoice, but will they let me put another order in?
If anyone can answer either or both of these questions I will be really grateful xxxxxx
