Great Idea Lozza. I will start the new thread as I think you have gone to work and find someone to lock this one.
When I get five minutes, will do updated useful hints and tips, I know I talked about it a while ago, but just didn't have the head to sit and think about it.

    That sounds good idea

I have another question I know I'm a pain. I have tried to contact my sales leader about another road as another rep already delivers on mine but she isn't responding. When I first started I was told that you can't just drop books at houses not in your area you have to know the person. Does that mean though that if I knock on some doors and ask if they have a rep and they don't I can ask if they want a book? Seems a bit cheeky but no one is getting back to me and it's winding me up lol

laura, you are not a pain. Ask as many questions as you like, it is better to ask and try and get help and support than to muddle along on your own.

What you are asking is better than just going and dropping books on another road allocated to a rep. Although you would probably need to knock on a few doors to really establish whether there is a rep or not. I asked a friend who lives near me if she ever saw an Avon book and she said no, so I was going to drop books down her road, turns out there is a rep on her road but whatever reason does not canvass that road, but I can't go dropping books down there as it is her road, and I will end up dropping one at her house and then she will complain to the ASM who has already told me not to do it.

However, if you are knocking and asking if they would like to see a book and they don't ever, ever get one, chances are that the road is no longer allocated to a rep.

You might find though that you ASM allocates it to someone else without telling you. Although if you have already established friends ;) on that road who buy from you, the rep cannot drop books to them.

Good luck and sorry it is such a pain for you.

I am waiting for territory request from my ASM.

Laura16 - Yep! I'm PC and not a Sales Leader :D. It does seem to have got rather SL orientated on here recently.

Off to look at the new thread (we only just seem to have started the previous one :p) See you all there

Four years later and I'm still like that when I'm recanvassing - oh, and I walk very quickly talking to myself too!

I try to look cheerful (without grinning like a loony) - something about me thinking that people are more likely to buy if they see me looking happy in my work rather than miserable!!!

I have completely misunderstood - I thought that there was going to be a separate thread for sales leaders to put their areas, and keep this thread going for all our comments and queries.
