I did a credit as I wasn't fussed about a replacement - I had ordered some samples that I thought my some of my customers might be interested in but seeing as how they didn't know that I was going to be popping a sample in it doesn't matter if they don't get it.
I have now found the 'Pending Credits' bit - £0.00 showing there. Is there normally a lead time before items show up there?
I'd be interested to know this too as I put some credits through at the end of last week for a customer's cancelled order and have just checked on my account and it's showing as pending credits £0.00. I take it when I pay at the post office I just pay the amount on my invoice less the amount of credits?Proud wife to a soldier and mummy to two gorgeous boysDealing with our Debt Barclaycard £2022.98 RBS £1249.86 Next £183.03September Groceries £120/£102.05:( September Packed Lunches 22/6Sealed Pot Challenge #9940 -

yes there is a lead time, I have found that if I have an outstanding balance on my account, the pending credits don't show. As soon as I start paying some of my balance or pay it off, then the credits start showing.
Yes yummmymmy, just pay the amount on invoice less the amount of credits you have put through. That will zero out your account.0 -
Really Lastly lol i posted an ad on gumtree and was sent this 'Thanks for your recent Gumtree ad posted in the Gumtree category "general jobs " section Unfortunately we have had to remove your ad.
We don't accept commission only jobs except for rickshaw riders / nightclub promotions / market research.
We do not allow 'Work from home' businesses to advertise on Gumtree.'
How annoying! How come Avon are aloud to post on there then??
Thats it...I promise.
Good luck with reps and with one who wants to be SL.
hmm interesting about Gumtree. They let me post a reps wanted ad for Avon, and there are other ads on there.0 -
well I'm very impressed I was so sure that it wasn't possible lol
i wasnt sure it was either at first but i made associate in my 15th campaign as a rep and then full bronze level in camp 15 of my first full avon year. It works out if you make an average of £361 in sales every campaign you'll be in.:D
My ASM is pushing me to get to Silver level PC this year though.. that i AM struggling with... that works out £861 in sales every campaign! Im way behind though so really resigned myself to not making it this year. I submit C6 tomorrow an have just over £700 in sales for it, added to my current sales for this year should take me up to £3421, putting me £1745 behind my target and needing £1006 every campaign! Not a chance...!:rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl:Wow - just found this thread (well around 2hrs ago!!) just sat and read through them - I joined Avon this week and put my brochures out C6 on Monday - I also tip toed up and down driveways and took my 3 year old with me for company!!!
going out again tomorrow to hopefuly collect books - going to be brave and go on my own !!!!
picked up loads of idea's though - Thank you all xx0 -
welcome mumtobe. I think we all tiptoed up and down people's paths, even now, because we don't want them coming to the door, waving an Avon book in our face saying no thank you or being abusive.
Believe it or not when I was expired book dropping, I was holding the letterbox covers open for my DS and making sure he quietly put books in and quietly put the lids down.... then he decided this way the day he was going to have a tantrum and stood in the middle of the pavement crying his eyes out! So much for being quiet!0 -

Wow Johanne that is brilliant. I'd love to make PC it would really show I was a success. Hope you don't mind me asking do you have a lot of F&F that order, or a huge territory? I have about 13 F&F and probably about 70 territory, did have more but another rep (who is not meant to do territory) put her books out before mine and I don't want to upset people. Or lose my books. Have just been allocated two more streets so hopefully that will drastically improve sales.20/01/10 Began as an Avon Representative. C4 - £156.16 :j C5 - £219.75:T0 -
First order of this campaign of my sister
Books to collect in next week (took deliveries last night, and will take remaining brochures tonight after work), hoping this campaign is a good one as so many customers didn't order last campaign, so hopefully they will this time!
Had a thought - on other threads like for the body shop & partylite, they have a list of sales leaders for those companies who are members on here.....do you think perhaps we should start a new thread and have the usual hints & tips on the first post, and then a post of the sales leaders & the area they are based, might need to be a vague area to keep things simple (like I'd put I'm based in the Midlands). Could help new people who want to join with a sales leader from here??Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

That sounds like a good idea lozza, would have been a great help for me as I'm now regretting signing up with an ASM as she doesn't seem to respond to my emails and doesn't seem to have a clue who's got what roads around here!!!Proud wife to a soldier and mummy to two gorgeous boysDealing with our Debt Barclaycard £2022.98 RBS £1249.86 Next £183.03September Groceries £120/£102.05:( September Packed Lunches 22/6Sealed Pot Challenge #9940 -
