Im aiming for it this year. (Would have got it last year but fell pregnant and was really bad with morning sickness so didnt really concentrate on Avon)

Just posted books to the flats on my road. Its the first time I've done them so hoping for some new customers. ALso just about to email my ASM (havent got a sales leader) to ask about another road close to me. Hopefully I can have it allocated to me. Wish I could check what was free around me but nevermind.

Aureol I will text you tomo about Friday. Hopefully LO will be completely better by then

I received my first order yesterday. There was one item missing which I have put through on the credits section of the Avon website. Also there was something that was incorrectly charged which I contacted them about via email and I have had an email response to say that they will credit it. However having had a look at the Avon site I can't see anywhere that lists these so that a) I know that they have been processed, b) remember how much to deduct from what I owe when it is time to pay. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Hi all!
Had a costomer order Hot Oil Hair treatmetn from C3 p62 30353....... she wants to know how to use it as there were no instructions.... please help as I've never used anything like that myself> Thankyou x

    Hi Dingdong

when I used to buy VO5 Hot Oil Hair Treatment, I used to boil the kettle or get hot water from the tap, put it in something heatproof, put the hot water in something heatproof, then dorp the tube of Hot Oil treatment into it, you had to wait so many minutes for it to heat up and then apply to your hair.

Let me have a look in the book and see if there is any more info.

Nothing in book except to say reacting to heat. So I would suggest what I have said above, but she needs to put the bottle in the hot water, give it time to heat up, pour a little in her hand, and then massage through her hair, starting at roots, giving herself a nice head massage with it, then working through length of hair. Leave for 5-10 mins, then rinse out. Or have a nice hot relaxing bath and leave hot oil in hair while relaxing in bath.

I have found this on web: You use Hot Oil BEFORE you wash your hair. Wet your hair and then twist off the top of the tube. Squeeze the oil evenly over your hair and massage in. Most store bought varieties require heating, massaging the oil into the scalp and hair, followed by a gentle rinse. A complete shampoo or over-rinse will defeat the hot oil’s purpose.

    Hi Noglet

The item that was missing, did you want a replacement? That is another one sent out to you, because then you didn't need to do a credit. You could have done an instant replacement.

Your credits are on your balance, if you go to My Account, click on show My Balance, then the page shows the payments you have made. On the left hand side how much you owe Avon, and on the right hand side, pending credits.

If your account balance is clear with Avon, it may still show pending credits on the right hand side or in the detail below, will show credits applied to your account.

Well ladies, not managed to get anymore ladies to sign up as Reps, however....

the customer who was in the bath, was genuinely in the bath! She called me today to explain her car had been stolen from outside her house, just before New Year's Eve and the matter hadn't been resolved, very complicated! She spent 15 mins telling me all about it! Anyhow! She did want to place an Avon order, so told me over the phone what she wanted. Being a mum of 2 under 2! she wanted some quick effective makeup, so asked what was good and worked. She has being buying Mac makeup but found it wasn't working or lasting.

So recommended some items that my customers have bought, but then suggested for the foundations, I get some samples for her to try. If she wasn't happy, then she hadn't bought a full size product, and then have to return for a refund, etc. She was very happy with the suggestion of samples to be able to choose what she was happy with and then buy the full size product.

AND had another phone call today, from the same area, wanting to buy 3 products. Ok, it was an order under £10, but still was very pleased.

So expired books have netted me 2 new customers - customers my rep who left without telling me, could have had, and they are on her doorstep.

I did a credit as I wasn't fussed about a replacement - I had ordered some samples that I thought my some of my customers might be interested in but seeing as how they didn't know that I was going to be popping a sample in it doesn't matter if they don't get it.

I have now found the 'Pending Credits' bit - £0.00 showing there. Is there normally a lead time before items show up there?
