    ...Hi there,

Right after calling the contact centre, posting on here, I emailed my Sales Leader and I used the email contact for head office. I still don't know what the upper order value is for campaign 3, 4, 5 - I know the MOV is £52. I also don't know if I will qualify for my incentive. The incentive I am talking about is - If I get HOV in C1+C2 (which I did) I got a bumper sample selection and a make up sample selection. If I get HOV in C3+C4 I get another two prizes and so on and so forth. So do I still need to get my £148 HOV or if I hit the reduced HOV if there is one, will I still qualify?

    Phew, take a breath!

Also this is an additional question, but can I place another order if my last invoice is outstanding? I have £210 to pay, but £110 worth of orders still to deliver to some family who I wont see til later this week (work commitments etc). I can't afford to put that money in myself and I need to place C3 order tonight :( eek! Will I be able to? It does say you have 13 days from invoice, but will they let me put another order in?

If anyone can answer either or both of these questions I will be really grateful xxx :o xxx :p xxx

Firstly far as I know - HOV hasn't been altered, it is still £148 on the short campaigns.

As for putting another order in with money owing - you will not receive your next order if you owe money. You do have longer than the 13 days it says on the invoice - but - your account needs to be clear before submitting the next order else it will not be sent out to you.

If you are struggling to deliver any orders - simply put those products through as returns - and pay what you do have, that way your account will be clear and you will receive your next order ok. Avon automatically recharge you after 36 days if they haven't received the products back (as they assume you have managed to sell them) so then your account will be right.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

That's brilliant. Thank you very much, well what I have is £95 out of a £210 order so I have requested credits against £115 - it hasn't shown up yet, but hopefully it will before I sit down to pay and put my next order through tonight, what a nightmare, but I am just learning, so I guess I will be able to know this for next time! Um, is there anyway I can 'request' a new sales leader? Mine never returns my calls, texts or emails and it is starting to annoy me (who am I kidding it annoyed me the very first time she didnt get back to me!)

Also, if anyone in Darlington, Stockton, Middlesbrough areas needs C3 brochues pm me, I have 30 surplus to requirements free to a good home, or they are in for the recycle bin!

    xx

    Hi Katy

    snipped.

unfortunately, you cannot request a new sales leader. You would have to leave for 2 campaigns and then sign up with another sales leader.

Why don't you send her an email asking her to come and meet you so you can talk. And then explain to her nicely, you feel the communication could be better. You understand she has a life outside of Avon, family, etc but it would be helpful if you could agree on timelines for communication.

For example my team know my phone goes on silent at 7pm, as that is when I put my son to bed, however I will check my phone during the evening and call back as soon as possible. if I can't call that evening, I will definitely call within 24 hours or text or email.

    This works well for them.
  • any1 avin problems understanding customer services? they repeat everything you say and its also a 08 number expensive!!

It is actually about 8 campaigns you need to leave for - if it was only 2 campaigns I would have left and signed under a SL (I was signed up by an asm who is no use what so ever!)

  • Thank you once again for all your help. If I dont get any joy from her then I will just have to grin and bare it I suppose, because I don't want to leave! Just been to the dentist and I need all sorts of work, so I need to keep at this and make some money!

I did really well for campaign 3, I have about £150 orders so far a few more to collect before end of day, so should exceed the HOV for my 3rd campaign which I am really pleased about. I put some 'free gifts' in with the brochure, a Mega Impact lipstick sample, an Ideal Shade Foundation sample and an Anew sample tied in cellophane with a curled ribbon around it; saw this idea somewhere on here, and it really worked! I got 4 orders for Mega Impact lipsticks (which are fab by the way), SIX orders for Anew (because of the Buy 1 Choose 1 for £5 coupled with the sample), and 1 for the Ideal Shade Foundation which was half price...

Plus on those Mega Impact lipsticks dont we get commission on the full £8 sales price, rather than the £4 brochure price? So that's £8 commission I've made just for 4 lippys :P

Going to do the same for C4 too :) x

Lozza, I was signed up by an ASM too - I just checked her card and labels... probably why I can't get in touch ey? x

Yeah it's almost impossible to get service or help from them! I was on the phone from my mobile for 22 mins the other day and I have had more help off here. It's best to just use the contact us facility (thanks aureol212!) or to ask people on here, or ring your SL (if you have one who answers her phone ;))

I actually asked them to hurry up on the phone the other night as it was costing me a fortune, and she told me to be quiet while she requested some replacement brochures - it took over 5 minutes just for that! :(

    Good luck x

Do you know Lozza, I know its 8 campaigns, my SL told me when I asked about someone else who had asked the same question, why I wrote 2? No idea! Having a bad day.

But thank you for making sure the right information has been posted on here.

I must say this about ASM's. They are in high pressured jobs - they have to sign up 2 reps a day to meet their target quota, and they have other targets they have to ensure their team meet.

I'm not saying it is right but it does explain why some of us find it so hard to communicate with our SLs. I had trouble getting hold of my ASM and my SL emailed her and then spoke to her and now she is fine with me. But saying that haven't had any leads from her since I said I couldn't do the last one.

You can imagine how big an ASM's team is and they probably don't prioritise us once they have signed us and shown us the basics.

However, if you email and ask to meet to discuss communications and she doesn't reply, you can go to her DSM and ask her to contact her regarding communications issues.
