Ermmm. not really but thanks. i've registered on there and will post the same as i have here.

Just tells you why you have nightmares. I can guess why i'm having them but need to know what they mean.... if i say what happened last night maybe someone could help me out. I remember it vividly and have had it nearly every night for the last week or so.

Start a new job, but on the way in the floor collapses and i fall cutting all my legs. All the staff are laughing at me but someone helps me up and takes me in. No idea what the work is but i spend the day being tortured, laughed at, silly things, cutting my hair off, stabbing me with pencils etc... when it comes to home time someone has wrecked my car (it isnt my car but in the dream it is). I try to get it in it to get away but 3 men keep trying to stab me. I egt out and run, and run always up lots of concrete steps but no matter where i turn there is someone waiting with a big knife.

I wake up just as i get stabbed from the front, back and someone slashes my face.

I know this is really gruesome but i really need to know what it means... I'm getting fed up of waking in tears to the point i dont want to go to sleep in the first place. Had it really bad last night but i think that was intensified because i ate loads of cheese.

All i can think is that wherever i turn, or whatever i do its gonna be crap, but i'm hoping thats not the reality.

Hi cc what a crappy nightmare, I remember when I used to have lovely dreams with fluffy clouds and ponies and all that other rubbish , mind I was probably 8 at the time!!
I looked in a dream book, I brought it when I was having a bout of really rubbish dreams and wanted to know what they meant. The book is a bit pants but it kind of came to the conclusion that your life may hold new openings for you but you are wary of them and shouldn't be - does that sound like a pile of poo or what, the book was cheap I'm afraid. A mug of horlicks would probably be more beneficial mind you a mug of brandy might be nicer!!!
    Hope you are ok
    Take care

Ty Wannabe. Someone on the website answered saying that the falling through the floor may represent me feeling as if its collapsing from under me at the moment, the knives represent something i am emotionally involved in at the moment  and the rest of the dream symbolises the state of my mind and captures the real emotions of my life

To me that means everyones out to get me?!!!

i think i need to stay off the cheese and switch to horlicks and hiding for a few days.

    Don't say that
Is life really sh'''y at the mo?
Does the interpretation sound true then?
Wanna chat? oh god i sound like a therapist - sorry
I'm here if I can help at all

  • can'tcope - maybe they're just a really bad version of standard anxiety dreams. With any luck they'll go away soon, once your subconscious has processed those issues (how's that for therapist-speak ;) ) and you stay away from the cheese.

  • cc - another idea would be to watch a funny film before bed, put you in a good frame of mind and distract you from unwelcome thoughts.

Good idea BoC. Think i will dig out something about my friends dvds.

All i need now is to start dreaming about the cigs! I feel like i am giving up everything i love at the moment. I used to love gambling. cant do that anymore for obvious reasons. I love smoking. cant do that, killing me and too expensive. I dont have sex or do drugs and my attempt at getting drunk ends up with a hangover from hell.

I am sooooooooooooooooooo boring. Maybe i should just go for it and join a convent.

  • Iused to work in the fruit and veg part of a local superstore. After a while I started to dream about Apples!!!
Now that's a nightmare, stacking them at work and then in my dreams too.

Definately no cheese before bed. I'm not prone to nightmare, but do find the cheese seems to make me dream more and wake up feeling like I've hardly slept.

im at the end of the road tbh - dont even know if i should post this here.

Yesterday took its toll - after so much stress, so much pentup anger, so much fustration, i tried it again.

i hate feeling as low as i am but i dont know how to not feel like it.

when sum1 asks how i am - i always say "im fine" and "oh yeh im great" when in reality im hurting inside.

i would go back to the docs but i dont want them to think im still moaning.

    i fail at everything.

    i fail too much.
