hi again all,
messy glad you had a good weekend - sounds like sooo much fun! I would love to try it!
cc hope the hangover has receded somewhat - god they are terrible aren't they? Especially the spinny room ones .. uuurrgghhhh.
hey kathryn, welcome back .. sorry that you and your OH have made that decision, but at least it is fairly amicable and you always have your mum and us to rely on for support. Hugs xxx
coffee - I have no helpful advice, sorry I am useless on thsi kind of thing, but I'm sure it will all work out. Hugs xx
I did better on my dissertation yesterday, basically rewrote the senond section, so that's why the word count isn't so impressive, but I am much happier with it now. Planning on rocking ahead today.
See you all later, loads love.

zc still no kitchen:eek: really feel for you, been there, not good.
Hello to everyone else
Love Messy0 -
Hey Messy
Urbs was fine when I saw her Friday ~ we went to Liverpool shoppingI got a bargain from TK Maxx for £1 ~ not that I'm mean or anything
:rotfl:
Have you got a week left? I saw a poor Mum the other day arguing with her young son over school uniform ~ he kept complaining that 'it doesn't fit' while she obviously thought it did.....
I just bought a load of white shirts for my DD and left it at that! My DS is now in 6th form and doesn't need a uniform ~ 5 less shirts for me to iron
At least he seems to be cooperating KP ~ thats a major breakthrough. I hope it all goes relatively smoothly for you.
Hugs,

Hi all. feeling much better today. You'd think at 31 i woul dhave learnt by now lol.
No more alcohol for me, at least until the weekend anyway!
Loving being off work, been to see mum, got prescription from the doc for some more nicotine patches and gum and now i'm gonna make some rock cakes as mum asked for them.
Apparently i need to make them tiny tho because of her diet?!!
Being taken out for dinner tonight by one of my cousins as a thankyou for the support i gave him this year when he was too scared to tell his mum he was moving out! Really looking forward to it. Havent been out for a meal for aaaaaaaaaaages.

I can totally relate ~ my DS is 16, almost 17 and I have been through almost every crisis imaginable with him. He's a good kid really, most of them are but its still difficult with them at times.
Just keep talking to him and telling him how you feel. The pollice will only want to have a talk to him to see if he knows anything and they are usually really good with teenagers. My DS had a party early in the year after breaking into the house while we were away for the weekend (he was supposed to be staying with friends with no access to our home). We came back to find the place trashed and a lad two doors down from us had assaulted his g/f in our hallway. The police were involved but then she dropped the charges about a month later.
Are there grandparents that you can get on your side?
Good luck xx
I'm not sure he realises how serious it is. I need to have a proper talk with him tonight - I just wish I didn't have to be at work today. Been totally distracted. Not sure what I'm going to tell his grandparents.... my folks were so strict with me when I was his age that I think they'll probably freak and blame me for letting him go there in the first place. They've mentioned on more than one occasion that they're dubious about the boys having regular sleepovers, so this is good ammunition for them!0 -
Hmmm BOC ~ I thought the Grandparents might be a little more supportive
My Mum is so easy going with my two ~ nothing like she was with me and my brother and sister!
Well maybe it will be taken a little more seriously if the police do get involved? My DS was shocked at how angry I was, I don't think he thought it was that bad either although he did come to realise it later.
Hugs,

Well, I don't think he's mentioned it to them while he's been over there today so I don't know what their reaction might be. But generally speaking they're much nicer as grandparents than they were as parents. My dad will be dropping him off shortly so i'll find out then.....0
