Has anyone got any good plans for the weekend? The weather is going to be pants which is a shame guess the pimms and bbq will be another non event. Will have to rethink. Might just drink the pimms anyway!

I'm ok. Payday today so paid a bit more off my debt. Managed to get some savings cards from the post office today so am starting to save stamps for tv license and car tax so its not such a nightmare when they are due.

Ga is going well, keeps my friday nights full and i look forward to going now.

Am off work all next week, will be my first full week off since Christmas and i cant wait. Going to do nothing but relax, meet some friends, read and watch dvds in bed.
Have managed to get all my housework done this afternoon. Bed changed, dusted, hoovered, cleaned bathroom and all ironing done which means i wont have to do ANYTHING next week. I refuse to :rotfl:

Hope you are all keeping well. Have lovely weekends everyone. I'm off to GA now.

Morning all. Anyone there?
Went to GA last night rather than go out with the girls....was feeling really fed up and then this guy i'd not seen before spoke. Apparently he's a bit of a celeb for his therapies and i have to say it was the best therapy i have EVER heard. Had i gone out i would have missed it. He only pops in once a year or so.

Made me determined not to miss any. One night out with the girls and i've have missed what i think at the moment will make such a difference to my outlook on the meetings.

Now.... dya reckon they can video the meeting on the 29th sept for me as i can't miss my concert at any cost

CC you are a real star. Keep up all your giving up and all your meetings. You are being really strong and I am sure that you have to be willing to let these support systems help you. You are a very admirable person and I am honoured to call you my friend. That sounds a bit gushing but it is true.
I wish my OH was able to face his demons the way you do. I hope the sun is shining and the flat is tranquil. Can you still see the river?

yes i can still see the river. If the weather is nice next week i intend to spend most of it down there reading a few books. cheap and peaceful.

Just had my asda shopping delivered and they substitued the 10 ding roast dinners i bought with bigger ones! how dare they lol
Got my ingredients to do some baking too so i'm off to make some shortbread strawberry tarts with lemon curd and whipped cream filling now. YUM

Hope you are happy in your cottage. What are you doing about the damp?
