I just posted about this on the Vent Board.
Am well peed off.
This might be the push I need to switch!0 -

I am sent a 'Statement' too for my phones on EQ Virgin tariff, but June's statement still had the note about the new charge for itemised billing - and CS have confirmed that I will have to pay.
Strangely, where it says 'Statement' on the bills now, it used to say 'Invoice' - this was changed on the May bill, i.e. April bill was an 'Invoice', but May bill was a 'Statement'. Nothing's changed, same tariff, same payment method, etc.
What's all that about?
I've been an Orange contract customer since they started in 1994, and have always enjoyed the free itemised billing. Forcing new terms on existing customers by calling them 'none-core' seems pretty crummy to me.0 -

Email the webmaster or customer.services@orange.co.uk, that's what I did after having the same problem. They will reset your password and text you a temporary one to change when you log on.0 -
I've got an orange contract with a O2 OVP tarrif, and I already pay £1 for itemised billing. Will Orange charge me £1, £1.50 or both???0

Yep, you will get charged for non-DD but if you pay your bill in an Orange shop then they will deduct the £3 (or with the new tariffs, £3.50) charge.0 -

They changed the bill format from VAT invoice to statement of account. I guess it's some kind of tax dodge? I don't know.
Anyway, if you want to continue receiving a VAT invoice (they changed the default to statement so there must be something in it for them!) then you can ring CS and they will do it for you.0 -

Well, I've just requested my PAC number for my main line from Orange and I'm moving to T-Mobile. Did that before the itemised billing nonsense even came on the scene. Going to ring up this afternoon and cancel another line (cashback - had the last payment a month or so ago) and pay off the line rental on it.
My wife may follow once I've transferred the Orange account into her name and she has to pay for her own phone, Orange always used to be fair (well... just not as dodgy as any of the other networks). Nowadays they are far outclassed by T-Mobile and Vodafone with only Carphone Warehouse, 3 and O2 exhibiting the same level of criminality and deviousness as Orange.0 -

They should continue charging you at the same rate as O2 would charge - which I guess would be £1/month?0 -

Therefore using your logic, OVP EQ Virgin customers will NOT be charged!
:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
well, got my reply back today, cannot cancel my contract because you can view your itemised bill online or through customer services! Wonder what would happen if we all phoned customer services and asked for each and every call and text we made at every time!
