Used this service yesterday gettin a quote for approx 55grams of gold they paid me as quoted 12.69 a gram and it's now sat in my bank! Posted the items by special delivery as recommended so pleased with the service! They even pay an extra ten per cent if you want Argos vouchers bargain! Big thumbs up to hgm

Posted parcel off Wed am and cash was in my account the day after for the full amount as per their calculator, almost before I'd read their email! Most efficient and would use again.

Well i was like many other people oh yeah cash my gold and yeap never see you gold or any cash ever again well i was so WRONG hatton garden metal's are great lovely staff great to deal with very helpful and yes they do give you one of the best rate's per gram of 9ct gold i'd ever seen and when i said i have 73 grams that's what there scale's said too so none of this rubbish oh no our scale's say 50 or 60 gram's and it was just old ring's ear-rings bit's and bob's i had'nt worn for year's i'm a sliver girl so am very pleased and i'll be most deafo tell people about hatton garden metal's there really fast too posted my gold late yesterday afternoon and got a e-mail this morning to confrim my sale of gold and the cheque's in the post. And thank you to jodie who was great and help me with what i had to do and she also put my mind at rest FAB!!!!! 100% happy!!!!:T

I can confirm they are just as good as everyone says. In our capitalist world, (I'm not complaining) everyone likes to have their competitive edge. HGM's edge is having a good reputation and they will, I'm sure value that, so use them confidently. Like others I had fill to in a form stating weight and carat. Well, I described a brooch as 14 carat. HGM's brief remittance email noted that the brooch was 18 carat and I got more money (the next day) than I expected.

Sold mine to HGM today after a bit of delay due to problems getting it to them, I delivered it in person and the money was in my account soon after.

I used HGM on 26th October sending in what I estimated to weigh (on kitchen scales) 25-30g. On my submission I stated the weight to be 25g and assumed that if it was higher or lower HGM wold adjust this weight. Today I have received payment and an email stating the weight as 25g. I find it highly suspicious that the exact weight was 25g and have sent an email to HGM to advise them of this. Has anybody else had this experience?

I sent scrap gold by special delivery Fri pm 26/10/12. I had shopped around locally and had a rough idea of weight and value. I called HGM first to obtain a quote from them and to find out what to do next when I found the quote acceptable. Online I found the process easy to follow and today, Mon 29/10/12 I tracked the packet via the Royal Mail website. This afternoon, an email alert from HGM advised me of the amount paid into my bank account and when I checked, there it was! The gold weighed slightly more than I had been informed locally and I was paid for that extra weight. More importantly I think was that I was paid between £90-110 MORE than the jewellers I had visited. I cannot praise the service enough and am happy to share my experience. Not bad for a silver surfer!!!

Used HGM for the first time yesterday. Weighed my gold on the kitchen scales, sent to HGM yesterday by Special Delivery, received email this morning saying they'd weighed it at 1.9 grams less (not surprised at all as my scales dodgy). I then accepted their offer and the money was in my account an hour or so later. I would definitely recommend HGM, they're honest, efficient, and very fast. THANK YOU HATTON GARDEN METALS.

I sent some 9 carat gold to HGM yesterday and received cleared payment in my bank account this afternoon, exactly as promised. I was very happy with the price paid, the speed of service and the communication I received from the company. Excellent service in every way.
