I posted my gold and silver to Hatton Garden Metals yesterday lunchtime. An hour ago I received my money via my paypal account. I used their website to get an approximate valuation by using my kitchen scales and was sent just under the valuation. Really pleased with Hatton's very slick and honest service.

Sent my gold off Tues, money in my account Wed. afternoon. I tried to track my package with Royal mail but today thurs. morning still getting the message that my package is progressing towards delivery. Not very reassuring, but at least my package got delivered and Hatton Garden metals response was top notch.

After a long time dithering I finally used these guys and I have to say that I am impressed. Posted Tuesday, money in the bank Wednesday. The estimate given onilne was pretty much bang on and their coommunication was good.

I will say, re. previous post, HG are linking to this forum in their emails, encouraging comments. On the one hand, advertising, on the other, they must be pretty confident of having few, if any bad comments.

I sent my gold off to a company with a very similar name in error (so be careful) and the price offered was no where near their website quote. They said they deducted admin etc !!! I asked for it to be sent back to me, which cost me £21.50.
That was £21.50 well spent.
I got far more from "Hatton Garden Metals".
The price HGM advertise on the website is what they pay out, (unlike the other one which quotes more, but pays less)
They sent out a cheque the same day.
The weight difference between my kitchen scales and theirs was only 0.2g, (mine only weighs in whole grams), so no problem there

I have to admit I was dubious to use an on-line company like this but I am very pleasantly surprised how good they were!

I got £40 more for my gold that I could find in local stores and they paid the next day!

Really happy, I wish I had more gold to sell!

I can highly recommend Hattongardenmetals. I posted my gold on 05/11/12 and the money is in my bank account today!

Brilliant service from Hatton Garden Metals. Just over 24 hours from posting the money was in my account.

I posted off my old gold jewellery to Hattons last night via special delivery and the money was in my account just before 2pm today. The only issue was I thought I sent 99g and they amended it to 96.5g. As I had only used my kitchen scales I wasn't too worried about the discrepancy and it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I can highly recommend Hattons as they do exactly what they say they will and the rate they paid me per gram was approx 25% higher than the High Street.

Used for the first time, I thought all the comments here were too good to be real. Well, believe it or not, I have recieved the money into my bank account the day after I have sent my gold. Top service and top prices paid. Thanks , exellent service.
