This company is amazing. I have sold gold before but have never received such a good price for it. In addition I could not believe how quickly I received payment - the money was in my account by 10am on the morning they received the gold. I would strongly advise anyone to use Hatton Garden Metals to sell their unwanted gold and will be recommending them to my family and friends in the future.

Having heard from a friend how much she got for some gold we decided to have a clear out of all our unused gold. We first took it into town for a valuation at one of those we buy gold stalls and was offered £750 (I'm sure we could have squeezed a few more pounds out of them) for 95 grams of 9 CT mixed items (rings & chains). Having heard of Hatton Garden metals we decided to price it up with them. On there online estimate they offered us a whopping £11.87 per gram which worked out at £1127. We sent off the gold via special delivery on 31/12/12 at a cost of £7.35 and were shocked to be emailed first thing this morning to tell us that the money had been paid, fully expected them to offer less than the quote. They weighed it at 94.70 grams and we got £1124.41. Money was paid by bank transfer. So by using Hatton Garden metals we got over £370 more than we would have got on the high street.

The service this company gave was first class and for anyone who wants to sell gold then this is the first place you should get a quote from.

It would be useful if someone could approach JDPower and arrange for him to submit an Indian bangle which is 63% copper core. Then he could report what occurs from practical experience.

Used HGM recently to sell three gold items that I had purchased in Dubai many years ago from a long-established and reputable jewellers. I used two different digital scales which showed a total of 71g but HGM's scales showed a slightly lower weight (down by 1.6 grams).

The three items were marked as 22 CT gold by the Dubai jewellers (international hallmark of 916 and 22 CT). HGM's tests showed that the gold was 20 CT. I was very surprised by this but sold anyway. To be fair to HGM, they did offer to return the items.

Very rapid payment so very happy in that respect. Surprised that the gold purity wasn't as marked on the items.

I used these in October and was very impressed. Very fast service, easy to use and great price paid for my gold. I sent 9 and 18ct items and would definitely recommend. I had tried a different company first and went through the process of turning down the first ridiculously low quote and so on until I got them to return my items. A least with this one the initial contact is the best quote so you know where you stand.

Hatton are the Real professionals !

I have sent 3 items yesterday,special delivery as required and today
i received my payment !
I was unsure about some details like Ct and weight but not only
they sorted it out when they received it today,but they were
of utmost honesty and indicated the real weight which was higher than i thought !

In a few words , don't hesitate as people tend to do in such situations , Hatton Garden Metals are honest and professional , proven through time.

Hmm, another new poster who signs up just to sing the praises of someone they have done business with.

How much did Hatton Garden Metals bung you to post this (or is it part of your job description?) - don't know why I am bothering to ask in reality as I'm sure pendulumred will never return to this forum.
