Used Hatton Garden Metals after seeing them recommended on MSE. Got twice as much as local jewellers. Money was in my account within 24 hours, at the rate I expected. Cannot fault the service.

After reading reviews on here I sent off some old unwanted items yesterday by special delivery.
Just been emailed to say that £600 has been deposited this morning into my nominated account.
Excellent service, would defo use again. :T

After doing some on line research, selected HGM to sell four gold coins. Sent them in the post late yesterday afternoon and money in my account by lunchtime today. Excellent price and efficient service. No hesitation in recommending. Will use HGM again.

Aren't gold coins normally worth more AS coins, not sold to be melted down?!

• If it didn't deliver the full amount, what was its reason? One locket was not gold, which I suspected.
• Anything else other people should know? Local dealer offered £10.18 per gm, HGM paid £12.24. It cost £5.90 to send the packet by RM Special Delivery.

An astonishingly efficient service, very pleased with the outcome. I especially liked the anonymity of it....I hate face-to-face 'haggling'!!

Used this company after reading the reviews on MSE, posted items off yesterday and today got an email saying the weight of my gold was less than I had stated (add I did use my kitchen scales so could be out), anyhow still fetched £675 (I got it to £733) agreed weight & money in my bank this afternoon - fastest money I have ever earned.

I would definitely recommend this company fast, secure & reliable, incidently I did go to two high street co's first - cash 4 gold offered £450 and cash converters offered £350, well worth the time checking out MSE first - thanks:T:T

How efficient was the service? Very efficient, received a mail confirming the sale price midday today, followed by full payment.
If it didn't deliver the full amount, what was its reason?
Anything else other people should know? The local jewellers offered me approx £190, so I'm obviously very happy with the price, and couldn't be more happy with the service.
