Posted my broken gold to Hatton Garden yesterday about 3pm by 1pm today they paid me £403 ! Excellent service.Some of my gold was 18 ct but most was 9ct.
Recommend them to my friend who is sending his gold in now.

We decided to sell to gold we had in the house. After a google search brought me to this thread I decided to try HGM. I was not a member of this website and I only joined to post this feedback.

Only one thing worried me about making the sale was the sending of gold by special delivery. The maximum insured amount is £2500 and I had £5500 's worth of gold.
I was told I could drop the gold off at the office packaged and obtain a receipt. I was still nervous but all the positive feedback on this thread did provide me with some comfort!

The gentleman behind the glass screen opened the envelope in front of me and cracked open one of the rings to separate the gold from the platinum and said the rest would be sorted within the hour.

I left awaited the email.

My measurement of 229 grams was half a gram different from there's so well within the margin of error of my scales.
Money paid swiftly, what more can I say? I will tell people.

Absolutely superb service.
Gold posted Weds 5:20pm, Money in bank Thurs 3:30pm.
They paid over £2 per gram more than local jewellers quoted.

I had before a bad experience with another company (Pure Gold Buyers). I am Italian and therefore my gold has an official Italian hallmark, not the English hallmark.I would specify that I am a jeweller and I know very well what I send.
After I send my gold, the offer has been less of the half of the value and I have also been told that in UK all the companies pay less if there is not an English hallmark. IT IS NOT TRUE!Now I know.
Hatton Garden Metals gives me the exact amount of money of the value of the item.They test the gold which has a foreign hallmark.
I would reccomended to everybody this very reliable company

Hi,

I sent my gold off last Saturday after having it valued on the high street. I was quoted far more online than anywhere on the high street. I received email confirmation on Monday with how much it was worth and it had already gone up in value. The money was in my bank account Monday afternoon! What a result. Would definitely use them again! Xxx

I sent a gold ring last Tuesday, was advised what it was worth on Wednesday and received a cheque on Thursday. Amount was a bit more than was originally estimated due to daily increases in the gold price. Very efficient, excellent service, highly recommended. Really glad I checked the moneysavingexpert website for advice on who to use for sale of gold and, having had such superb service, I would never go anywhere else. :T

This was one of the easiest and most satisfying transaction I have ever had on line. They are everything they say on the tin! I posted my old gold on Monday afternoon, got an acknowledgement on Tuesday mid morning of the value (which totally reflected my estimates of the gold sent) and was delighted the price had gone up slightly. I had requested payment into my bank account but being a numbskull had transposed a number in the account details. A very helpful lady rang me and we sorted it out and some half an hour later the money was in my account. All I can say is they more than met my hopes and expectations and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their service. Am now on a mission to persuade my friends and family to get rid of their scrap gold.

Thanks to everyone who has posted ads on here! The comments really helped me make my decision to use Hatton Garden Metals and I don't regret it!
It was only 4 days ago my partner and I decided to check out what gold we had that we werent using anymore. We found a fair bit!
Monday 2nd April I took the gold to Cardiff town centre with me and F.Hinds said i had around 86 grams of 9ct gold. They offered me £760! I was chuffed! I thought £760 for old gold that will just end up in a box somewhere, that's great!
Now I knew I had 86 grams I thought I'd go home and research a bit online. I found Hatton Garden on this website - and I'm so glad!
On their website Hatton offered us £1022.41!! Which I thought was incredible but I wondered if they were legit!? After reading the reviews and write up I knew they were!
I sent my gold off last night (tues 3rd April) @ 5pm straight after work. Today (weds 4th April) I received an email from Hatton at 3.30pm to say they had transferred the £1022.41 direct to my account!!!

I can't thank this site and Hatton enough! We are extremely impressed and I have already passed on my reccomendations!!
