A most excellent, honest and professional company. I got my online quote, sent the gold and within 3 hours of their receipt I had a remittance advice for the exact ammount and the cheque was with me the very next day.:j

What a truly superb company to deal with. I had some gold that I wanted to sell and wasn't at all impressed with local rates which offered over £3 a gram less than Hatton Garden Metals.

I was aware that there were a lot of scams around from rather dubious companies who were cashing in at our expense and paying out much less for your gold than it's actual worth.

I stumbled upon this forum and I am really glad that I did as the service from Hatton Garden Metals was way above all expectations - Recommended!

• When did you use it - 27 May 2010
• What did you send it - Two 9ct Gold chains @ 86g total weight
• How much did it promise you - £832
• How much did it deliver - £810
• How efficient was the service - Very fast, Next day
• If it didn't deliver the full amount, what was its reason - Slight weight difference but then I did only use kitchen scales! Also the gold rate on the day was slightly lower.
• Anything else other people should know - Very efficient, they sent an email straight away notifying me of the amount paid and that it had been sent (I opted for a cheque)! Make sure you send it well packaged and by special delivery and insure it for the full value. That way you have absolutely no worries with regards to sending this through the post.

Just used Hatton Garden Metals this week. Sent off my 9ct wedding ring and got a cheque back for £77 within 2 days. Superb service, will use again.

Make sure you post your gold by special delivery to insure its safe (Cost £5 or so).

I took 29.7g of 9ct gold into a friend who is the local jeweller and has had an editorial recently saying what a great service they give buying gold and how they will give you the best price, which i trusted, anyhow it came to £187 and I thought actually, i will wait. Got on the www and tried MSE but didnt come up with anything but somehow googled and found this company. Found the link and checked it was genuine and thought go for it! Anyhow, its an easy to use website, clear and concise and posted off the gold yesterday. tracked it, they got it at just before 8am today and a 2pm checked my bank account to find £285 deposited in it. I am thrilled. Excellent service and I believe I have got really good value at just under £10 a gram. My neighbour sent a mix of gold off to another company, i think you know the ones! worked out at 83g mixed carats and got £385 for it which she thought was brilliant. Personally i would have rather had the £800 plus hgm would have paid. Please have total confidence sending your gold to them.

Hi, I posted my Gold on Friday by SD and because of the Bank hols didn't expect anything in my bank account until today (Tues). There's nothing gone in yet. Will I have an email to say it's been payed or will I need to keep checking my bank?
My status says processed when I log into the site.

I have posted off my gold today also, having had a poor offer at Webuyoldgold, so looking forward to hopefully receiving a fair offer at Hatton Garden metals following the feedback I have seen on MSE. Will update when I hear

Sent by SD yesterday at 10.40, email received today at 11.35 am confirming price. Money in bank by 12.20 pm. Cannot praise them highly enough, this figure was £48 higher than I had already been quoted.:)
