Used HGM for the first time yesterday. Sent the goods off last night by special delivery. Received the money in my account today by Midday. Excellent! Straight forward system, fill in the on-line form with weights and off it goes. Recieved a couple of grams less than I thought, but this was my fault as part of a tie pin was not gold. I would recommend this company to all. Cheers Gary send you some more soon.:T

Fantastic customer service, they gave us a good price for our scrap gold and sent the cheque very promptly. Unfortunately the dog ate it, in one gulp. Emailed back offering to send bits of cheque as proof of this disaster, told not to bother, and, another cheque received to-day. Safely banked, doggie had a biscuit instead!!!

Sent my gold yesterday - which I weighed @ 64g and today received payment via BACS for 64.1g - how great is that! (even point of a gram paid for) - very honest and trustworthy company. Have no doubt - will use again:T

I sent a bracelet weighing 58.5 grams 18ct gold to Hatton Garden Metals on Monday 19th April and today Wednesday 21st April full payment at the days gold price was in my bank by 3.00pm.
An excellent service and totally reliable company. Very highly recommended.

After reading this website and hearing the reviews on Hatton Garden Metals. I sent a 56g ~ 9 caret gold bracelet to them via Special Delivery Next Day Post Office service posted at 14.00 hours at a cost of £5.50.

I was amazed to find an email from them timed at 11.33am THE NEXT DAY confirming they had deposited £478 direct to my account. I checked and the money was there!

Simply amazing service especially as the day earlier the best price offered by 2 local jewellers was £290.

Well I;ve sent off my gold to them this afternoon. Will update my experience tomorrow.

Also I noticed that there is a post on here that's been deleted. A guy who was trying to sell arab gold to Hatten Garden Metals and he was not satisfied with the quote given.

The message interested me because I have arabic gold and called them to find out how they value it.

The lady said that they valued it as 20carats instead of 21 carat because they weren't hallmarked. I thought fair enough and sent it off as well! lol.

Anyway we'll see tomorrow what I have actually sent off. According to my calculation it's just over £2,000.

Well, I've checked Royal Mail - it arrived 8:20am today signed by R Jordon.

That was really swift by Royal Mail! At one point I considered hand delivering it because I didn't trust posting gold!

This thread has given me high expectations for Hatton Garden Metals - I am expecting super fast transaction!

And they did call a few minutes to confirm to explain why this was different to my estimate.

Very good service. Thanks. Shame - I wish I didn't have to sell the gold really - but needed to do so due to raising funds for my project.

They are swift though.
