I sent a small amount of gold including wedding rings no more needed (luckily the other half left his behind when he walked out) to Hatton Garden Metals as I read good reviews here. I had such a bad magnifying glass that I could not see the hallmarks in most of my jewellery. I listed the ones I knew to be 14 carat and the others at 9ct. Turns out one of the items was a bit more.
The company received my goods today, sent me an email and the money was in my bank account within an hour of me receiving the email. Absolutely brilliant!

Can't complain I guessed the carat of a pair of earrings and they corrected it to something more can not complain about that.

Posted it Saturday, received money and money in my account before lunch!!! Will def use again.

I used Hatton Garden Metals MaY 2016. I sent a mixed lot of scraP / old gold and silver. Was quoted about £359 and I got back £367 - An item |I thought was 18ct was identified as 22ct and an item i thought was 9ct was identified as 18ct. The communication was very good and very clear. The prices paid were almost exactly what was quoted on the initial website and the differences were only due to market movements. I was informed om the day of receipt of the package, and payment was made on the next day.

I whole-heartedly endorse this company.

Very happy and satisfied with the service. Sent one broken chain of 24 ct thai gold weighing 14.9 grammes. Got an email reply the next morning apx 1hr 45 mins after it was delivered and signed for. Email stated that it was not uk hallmarked and weighed 14.8 as a pose to 14.9 grammes. It was tested and found to be 23 ct gold which I half expected so no shock there. Called them to confirm I was happy to procede with the sale which I was. Was offered £443.56 which I accepted. This was paid into my bank account within apx 3 hrs that day. The day before I took the same chain to two dealers in Hereford, one a pawn broker who offered me £270 and the other a jeweller who offered me £230. Will definitely use Hatton Garden Metals again. Very professional and user friendly service. 10/10

Watched the Gold index slowly rising and sent off two sovereigns, received confirmation the next day and cheque the day after. Sterling company (pun intended) would recommend them to anyone.
Read what they say -- you are quoted the international gold price on the day they open your parcel. Five stars

:TWas very sceptical about using a postal service but when I did an estimate of what I would receive for my gold compared to what my local jeweller was offering I thought I would give it a try.

Account set up, estimated gold weight on website, posted gold special delivery (£6.45), money received in account all within 24 hours. Can highly recommend Hatton Garden Metals.

Excellent service from HGM ! I posted my scrap gold items by Special insured delivery-£6-45 on Wednesday afternoon and received an email from HGM at 11am Thursday morning asking for approval of their weight estimates. I verified that they matched my estimates and 2hrs later the money was in my bank account. Highly recommended.
