I'm keen to get rid of some gold but after reading the 60 pages on here I've never come across so many newbie posts/one post forumites singing the praises of this company.
Couldn't MSE simply block feedback from the one IP address?

To be fair there are regular forum users amongst the spam that suggest their service is good. Sadly HGM email all their users and ask them to spam this thread for them, which completely waters down their feedback (and reputation)

Very impressed with Hatton Garden Metals...

I posted odd bits of gold jewellery via special delivery yesterday afternoon and from my own calculations, using their website and my digital kitchen scales, I reckoned on about £316.

This morning I received an email from them confirming receipt and that £316 had been paid into my chosen bank account.

Of course I checked my account and sure enough, there it was!

So quick and easy with great communication throughout.

I have used hGM twice now, both times they gave me exactly what they said they would, their prices were higher than I found anywhere else. This time I sent the gold on Saturday and the money is in my account today (Monday) would recommend them to anyone

Brilliant, fast, fair and straightforward service. Quite a bit of gold mailed to them yesterday. Royal Mail site said it arrived at HGM 09:10 today. By 11:00 the money was in my bank plus an email itemising the proceeds. Highly recommended.

WOW! All I can say is WOW!! What a service! I only sent my gold by Special Delivery yesterday and by 1pm today they had transferred more money than they initially quoted me and about £34 more than the local jeweller had offered me!! So impressed and would recommend them to anyone who'll listen!! Thanks for the info Money Saving Expert! I love this site!

Filled in form online sunday, got a quote for price for my gold, sent special delivery yesterday, email 1st thing to advise slight variation in weights (I knew some items were probably not gold as no hallmark) accepted price and money in bank 2 hours later today!:rotfl:

Hi just sold my first scrap gold online, and thank god I checked this page first I was going to use another online dealer then I discovered Hatton garden metals, I got more money than I thought the next day in my account I cant recommend them enough I will definitely use them again top class
