Just used Hatton Garden Metals, they received my package this morning, emailed me the weight, I checked on their website for a quote on monetary value. I emailed them my acceptance and money was in my account within 3 hours. Really impressed with their service and the amount they gave me. Checked on various other websites for a quote for the same amount of gold and the nearest was still 180 pounds short which represented nearly 20 per cent difference! Really pleased many thank MSE for recommending them!

I posted some gold to Hatton Garden Metals on Tuesday 22nd April 2014, through the Special Guaranteed Delivery Service (Insured and Tracked by Royal Mail), but have not heard anything from Hatton Garden Metals. Reading other reviews it seems they have a pretty quick turn around time from receiving the package, to assessing and weighing the item and payment, but they are taking ages.....Should I be worried ???? They definitely received the package as it is recorded as being received the following day (Wednesday 23rd) at 9am (with signature). I thought they were normally quicker than this....Help !!! I enclosed all the right documentation and posted around 21 grams of gold but wasn't sure what the carat of the item was at the time.....:beer:

Fantastic service, posted Special Delivery Monday, money in my account with e-mail dealing exact amounts of gold & silver by lunch time Tuesday.

Sent a package yesterday money in my account today!!! No hassle, great deal on old gold just lying in the bottom of drawers etc. Worn out thin rings,rings with stones missing, odd earrings etc etc...The website gave a value and I got a little more due to gold price, highly recommended dealer. Money in the Bank.

Highly recommend Hatton Garden Metals for their quick, professional and highly lucrative service.

Having had a recent cupboard clear out, I was left with some scraps of gold, unwanted :money:jewellery and an old gold watch. Wasn't sure whether it was all gold but weighed it on kitchen scales, registered an enquiry with Hatton, selected my requested payment method from Fast Pay, cheque or PayPal and then parcelled it up (double bagged for safety) and sent next day Special Delivery as advised.

Next working day, as promised, by 1.00 pm I received an e-mail saying my payment had been processed via Fast Pay and within two hours the money was in my bank account. Some of the items I sent were not gold, as I suspected but still received a nice tidy sum for my broken jewellery.

I found Hatton Garden Metals service very easy. I weighed my gold and silver yesterday and got a price on their website, posted it off by Special Delivery and received an email from them first thing this morning confirming the weights (there was a very slight difference but I did weigh with kitchen scales) and asking me if I wanted to continue. I replied straight away and I have already received an email back saying they have sent a payment of £680 to my bank account. The prices they pay are much higher than most and their service is excellent. Answer to questions below;

Wow I sent bits of old jewellery yesterday lunchtime and got an email today and money in my account. I thought I would get around £25 but got £123. Amazing service. Thankyou.

Could not be more impressed. Was a little anxious about sending gold through the post but after the reviews on mse went for it. Was quoted £480 for 55g of gold. Sent it on Monday special delivery and had £527 paid into my bank on Wednesday. A coin id sent was 22carat so worth more. I had no idea ! Genuine, well communicated, does exactly as it says website. Will definitely recommend and use again

I used them August 2014. I got a quote from them using the website over the weekend posted the bits and pieces yesterday afternoon and have the money in my account already :beer:
