selling your stuff on Amazon - part 5

The only thing I would say is that I never thought that the 2 days counted the weekends? Therefore something bought on the 17th which was the Saturday didn't need to be sent until the 20th, Tuesday. Yes i know we on this thread are paranoid about getting our stuff out quickly, and maybe the fact that some other sellers do use the 2 days allowed, accounts for the fact that I often get people emailing me to say how surprised they were to get the book so quickly.

Yes Soolin, I may have worded that all wrong, the seller with the book was providing a good service, and I was just highlighting in fact how long a second class packet got to me within two days which is great.
It is the dvd sellers I don't understand.
I have bought a fair bit of stuff off sellers, and it has been rare to receive an acknowledgement email or an I have posted your book email. That is why I think we are good sellers!:)Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I think of it that way too. When my kids had chickenpox some books were sent on the second day after sale. I put 'same or next working-day' in my listings. I quite often post on a Saturday morning but that's a bonus, I don't have to. Usually I post the next day, if the sale is after lunchtime I'm unlikely to manage the same day.
I have two sales to post tomorrow which brings me to 19 so far for June!:jAMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0022 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the Ebay and other auctions, Car Boot and Jumble Sales Board0 -

Does anyone take the sales rank into pricing when thay're listing a book?
Just wondered as everything I've sold this week has been in the top 200,00
Re moaning here,
The most effective thing for me has been to tidy up every piece of evidence relating to Amazon. Twice now, I've got a sale within the hour.0 -
Morning All
Quick question - is there a piece of software that some people use to make sure their item is aways the cheapest price? Ive been in "undercutting" wars on several different items with different sellers, yet they sell so many and unless they dont have a life and check everyday every item i cant see how they know im price matching them every daySee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -

Yes there is,it has been mentioned before.
So there is no point in getting in a price war with these people, just go back to the next best price leaving their book really cheap,so when it has sold you have made a better profit.
