Think I got too excited too quickly never mind better take a '0' off the selling price0 -
Hi,
Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you put the isbn into abebooks, there is a copy for £11.55.
Hope this helps.

Regrettably, your book is an out of date law book where newer editions are available see: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/detail/offer-listing/-/0421753706/all/ref=dp_olp_2/203-6226377-5661556?%5Fencoding=UTF8
Obviously solicitors need the up to date versions which reflect amendments etc to the law. Consequently your copy may be difficult to sell at any price.

Well, I suppose it had to happen. I posted a book out three weeks ago at a cost of £2.69 and it has been returned today with a note 'not known at this address, return to sender'.
I've emailed the buyer to let them know it's come back despite me using the exact address given to me by Amazon. This only sold for 2 pounds in the first place and is a heavy book so I am making pennies on the sale already. I have thought that if they want it reposted I'll ask them for the postage costs again.

If you are given a new address to post to, just write the new address on the package and put it into a post box. It should then be redelivered, Royal Mail are pretty good about getting packages to where they should be. I don't know how Post Offices treat 'redelivery' I suspect they will try and charge you again.AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0077 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board.0 -
This was posted on the Amazon Discussion Board. It looks interesting although I prefer to support my local post office by buying stamps, doing it myself and posting into post boxes.

OK, I have an interesting problem now!
I use a hotmail email address, and one of my buyers has added me to MSN Messenger. They seem to want to be my friend! I don't want to offend them, as I don't want to get negative feedback, but I don't want to be their friend.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

The problem is you still have to take the lot to the post office if you want a certificate of posting stamped. Without a COP you have no insurance if the items don't arrive.

Some peoples email accounts do this automatically, just ignore them, or even block them on msn so you never appear signed in to themSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -

This is very interesting. Am giving it a try at the moment, but ran into problems printing off the label as I only had Adobe version 4 and it needs a minimum of 5. Once I've got the latest version loaded up I think it should be very straightforward. Saves on a trip to the PO, although I see that the COP is still only valid if stamped by them - can't really see why you'd bother to use the service if you are going to go to the PO anyway. Still, it helps me out as I've got a low value one to send, but not enough stamps in the house to cover it.
