  • elona - I've read on Old Style about your worries for your dad, this is far more important than someones silly comments, as everyone else says it will be pushed down the page in no time and who reads them anyway?

edit - to maybe cheer you up a bit more - I got a comment about me 'taking the pi**' because I forgot to take the 25p charity shop ticket off the back, it still smarts a bit but I can laugh about it now. I bet there are lots of people with really good feedback that have the odd stinker in there too, you'll laugh it off soon.

I had some positive comments about my enviromentally friendly packaging in my feedback, never again shall I worry about using the bubble wrap from the fruit department at tescos and the cheap/reused envelopes again. lol

Sold a CD to a record shop today.

I have just started my new month on the pro merchant and the last couple have been dismal so was thinking about cancelling it, but this month has picked up a bit.

Can you guys help me please.
I have a book which although will list on amazon there is no price for it. Now other similar ones (around same date) also have no price. I've looked on bookfinder and I can't find exact match for it - I have a hunch it might be worth a bit and I want to get an idea of how much so where do I look now?? are there any other sites which might help in pricing it??
    any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Went in to my local PDSA shop today, loads of books reduced to 10p each, I picked 4 and listed for a cool £23! I sell one and I'm doing fine - I still think this is fun!

    Hi Annie,

    have you tried https://www.abebooks.co.uk
its another site that will give prices but I find different sites often have the same sellers and copies so might not be any help - worth a try tho'

    Good luck

Thanks to you all, I started listing books from around the house that I wasn't too attatched to. Very quickly I got up to 100 listed, and was selling one or two a week. It's really paying off. Since 10pm last night , I've sold 7 with one pending, and I can't quite believe it. It's soooo exciting, and I'm truly hooked.
A huge thank you to everyone here. The info has been invaluable, and it's so nice to know that I'm not in this on my own.

    Hi Annie

You could also see if any sales have 'completed' on Ebay. Other things to consider are whether there any other editions that are available - it may give you an idea of price. However, if it is a first edition that would possibly change things.

I just 'Googled' the ISBN number and there is possibly a copy on the Japanese Amazon site, unfortunately my computer doesn't support all of the characters and I can't tell how much it is up for sale.

  • Hi Annie

Just tried putting the title into Bookfinder and came up with this (hope the link works)

    http://www.booksandcollectibles.com.au/bookfinder.php?book_id=162553299

    Sadly, it's not looking good.
