selling your stuff on Amazon - part 5

Hi Divvyman - welcome to the thread - if I've understood you correctly you say that your rivals books are priced so low that if you compete with their prices won't make a profit when the postage is taken into consideration?
I wonder if they've looked into it properly like you have? If it was me I'd be tempted to email the lowest 2 or 3 and point out to them that the postage for this particular book will be £7.70, did they realise that when the book sells they will be out of pocket?
When they've taken this on board they may withdraw their book or price it realistically - then you go back and list yours when the playing field is level and as Kaminari says go for a knock out description
If you decide that contacting the deluded cheapo sellers is a good idea but you've no feedback so you won't come over as a wise old seller putting the newbies straight come back and ask on here we'll do it for you.0 -

well after a busy weekend things here in seabiscuitland have been very slow both on amazon and my new ebay trial shop - will wait til the end of my free trial to see if its worth keeping it open (need to sell more than £6 a month with it to be viable)See the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0

seabiscuit - watch that date closely, ebay don't email you and say that they are renewing your shop for the next month, they sit veeeerrrryyyy quiet and hope that you'll forget and carry on.0
