Disgusted/Hurt please help

I know Jackie I said that to him, asked him how he would feel if someone his age was talking to our daughter in the way he was talking to that girl. He said he never thought of it like that as it wasn't his intention but could understand why I felt the way I did.

I was calm as I know going in all guns blazing would get me nowhere, but I was firm and drove the point home that I will not be any sort of wife that puts up with being treated like a doormat.

Believe me I thought about it!! I still feel that stomach churn thinking about him flirting the way he was but I also know that the advice I would give to anyone I have to stick to myself and that is to try as calmly as possible find out what I can until I am satisfied and if I find out he is playing away then I go in all guns blazing sharp implements in hand!!

Are you not normally a shouty, confrontational person (i'm not - you don't sound like one either). My husband would know I really meant business if I started shouting. But believe me, I would without hesitation if I felt it was right.

Not a shouty person I feel it gets you to a different place than where you want to be initially, but believe me it would come out when and if required!

Whilst I am happy you are satisfied with his explanation..
Having re read your original posting I can very much say I am not happy with his so called story, things just do not explain away the emails, your man saying he has been thinking about her all day and him asking if there cold be chance of more..

But like other people have said only you know if he is lying or not, so main thing is you are happy with his version of events..
