i just went through the apple education store, saw the picture for a free ipod nano and my eyes lit up as i'm in the process of getting a macbook and that'd help offset the price even more.

i couldn't find any more information on the site and went through their live chat system and even though it's still advertised on the page where you choose your university, the offer expired in september.

Yo I just found out that The Economist are offering 12 issues for £12 to students, with free access to their website, a weekly audio tape, with a free book called Pocket World In Figures.

Just go to economist.com/insert/uk and quote QJQD as the reference.

Bummer really as I subscribed 2 months ago without knowing about this.

If you're looking for a job it's a good read before interviews. etc

CULT and Superdry Stores are holding a load of student nights this week with 20% off everything in store during after-hours! They don't seem to post it on their websites, I found it through the CULT Clothing page on facebook...

I'm heading down to the Cheltenham one The last one in October was fab!

P.s. Any valid photo student ID is needed to get in...

I totally agree!! The discounts I used to get with my student card were gold! Its been 2 years now since I had one (and many train fines later...as I still have the same amount of money i did then but the tickets are more expensive!!) I miss it everyday *sighs..*
