Or you can just use your university card which works in 99% of the places and doesn't cost a thing?
I agree. I asked a company (I believe it was actually a football club) what they accept to get student discounts and got told to "just bring your uni ID card".
Blacks also do student discounts. Again, uni/college ID cards are fine to use instead of NUS cards.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Thanks for this - can you explain how to get the student pass, though? Does this happen during the order process, or...?0 -
Hi Chia
Yes during the purchase process you have to enter the code study4less to get 10% off your order and your Feel Good Student pass. The full terms & conditions are here: kickersonline.co.uk/study4less/ (you just need to add www. - sorry, the forum won't let me post the full link because I'm a new user)
Hope this helps!0 -
If you’re looking to save money, you can join Students In Need for free and access lots of discounts of up to 20%. Lots of prize draws too, like a widescreen TV and chance to win £500 if you become a member. (Draw is in January 2010) There’s also a jobs section if you’re looking for work to help pay the bills, so worth checking out as they’re keen to help students.0

Hi there Guy's,
I work for Delta Force Paintball and we are selling paintball tickets at a large discount on Ebay targeting people looking to save money like students.
You can buy 24 tickets including entry and equipment hire + 2400 paintballs (100 for each person) for 0.99p. Our shop is at myworld.ebay.co.uk/delta-force-paintball/
(If anyone objects to me putting the link above in here let me know and I will remove it)
I am pretty convinced this is the cheapest deal you can get on the net at the moment for paintballing.. if not and feel free to throw some digital abuse at me...students

Any info would be great. Thanks
Apple don't give student discount on iPhones, but if you can get hold of an o2 open code you can get £10 off your monthly line rental, but only available in o2 stores, and on the iPhone 3G, not 3GS.

apparently it's a free ipod touch this year!
plus do you mean the applecare is £50 for students or when you buy it with a computer?
I brought my mac last year but want to get the applecare soon (it came with a year anyway - just as well as the hard drive failed!) - the cheapest I've seen if for is £100 (with student discount) not on the apple site though.
You also get various discount off other items.
Although I'm a part time, post grad student, you still get the same discounts.
I think it's 11% off most Apple branded accessories, including the new MagicMouse and Time Capsule etc.0
