I was in town today and noticed that currently:

New Look are offering 20% student discount until the 17th or 19th (sorry can't remember which) of May. Applies to full price stuff only.

Dorothy Perkins are offering 15% student discount. Sorry, can't remember when this ends but was also for a limited time. DPs usually offer student discount on sale items (apart from jewellery).

If you show a student card at McDonald's you get a free cheeseburger when you order a meal. Not th healthiest but it is free

You can save a lot of money when buying stuff from the apple site if you are from certain universities. They have a page on their site where you can find out if you qualify/ how much you can save

As Somerfield is becoming Co-op, so my 5% discount will no longer be valid, does anyone know if Co-op do a student discount too?

There is an ancient post on here which says that they did, but I can't find out anything about it now.

    Thanks
  • you can get a free hamburger, cheeseburger or mcflurry when you buy a large meal :j

and of course any good moneysaving student will get a national express student card and get loadsamoney off travel ;)
MegaBus is a lot cheaper for most travel actually, even if you have to use a local travel card at one (or both) ends :)

I was about to say, I use MegaBus these days wherever I'm going, it's so cheap. Travel conditions aren't brilliant, but it is a great service.
