You can get a card from Somerfields that you show when you pay for your groceries along with a valid nus card and you get 5% off. Not that much but it makes a difference to your change :j0

Does anyone use Blyk as their phone network. Apparently 16-24yr olds can use it for free and get 217 free texts a month and 43 mins free. No cost or contract or anything. Only thing is it all seems a little too good to be true.
What does everyone else think?
xx
Yep its true I have had Blyk ever since they came out.
It is totally free, the reason it is free is because they send you brand messages every now and again.
I use it just in case I run out of credit!0 -
Most places do student discount if you ask for it but don't advertise. At the minute, Miss Selfridge are doing 20% off for students and I know a lot of shops do this for about a month at a time. Also, most places say you need to show an NUS card, but a college or university student card always works just as well in most shops, cinemas and restaurants.0

In Falmouth there are loads of places that do discounts, particularly eating out places. Examples include 5 degrees west with 20% off and Pizza Express with 20% off (not sure if this is national or just local). Have also heard Domino's do deals for students (again not sure if this is national or just local as it has just opened).0

Nice to see another student from Fal on here... The pizza express thing is national. The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha
I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.0 -
10% off at Bagel Nash - you can also get a loyalty card where you buy 10 bagels and / or drinks and et the 11th free, so if you use both you basically buy 9 and get 11!0
