The Great 'Student Discounts' hunt

Having read through the posts nobody seems to have mentioned https://www.studentbeans.com
It is basically a site you register with to print off vouchers for discounts or free stuff. There are loads of different categories including clothing, food and drink and health and beauty, in Birmingmham city centre and in Selly Oak (the studenty area).
I'm at Birmingham Uni and not sure if this is specific to Birmingham Uni, whether it includes other unis and colleges in Birmingham or whether theres are similar sites for students in other cities.0 -
Hi all,
Found out by accident you can get different student discounts in different bella italia/ bella pasta restaurants. e.g. in Leicester square, London you can get 20% off food. There's some even better ones elsewhere.

Don't know if someone has already mentioned this but THE best chinese buffet in Liverpool's centre Mai Sum does 10% discount on their buffet lunch, meaning you can stuff your face for less than a fiver! :rotfl:
Burtons also offers 15% on everything... shame they don't do girls stuff, but no excuse for student lads looking scruffy!
Wish i was still a student _pale_0 -
Donald and Aitchison offer free eye tests on production of an NUS card, well worth it instead of paying, think cheapest is £5 (specsavers) so good saving!0

I've used it on sale items before and when spending less than £15
Although, i do find each New Look store varies as to if they give student discount or not.0 -
